The update also seems to severely nerf agility tanks (well it nerfs everyone, but agility tanking seems like it'd be the biggest hit). Poor 4th.

Only the currently active blade has their stat mods applied now. So for example if you've got 4th with three pentagon chips, only one of them will count at a time, and thus that's 100 agility being lost.

This possibly also means no 999 luck anymore but I didn't read too much into that.

I believe smashing Relentless Ardun. If you can't handle that, smash any of the UMs. I alternate between Reeking Douglas and Cloud Sea King Ken. With Reeking Douglas, you need to seal reinforcements ASAP and he's easy. I haven't fed Ardun enough yet.

It also means only 3 gold chips, which is the main culprit for the Legendary Core farming being worse.

I'm seeing people saying that gold chips always worked like that, so it's probably just a nerf to actual drop rates.

Well I didn't win the mega millions. Next rare blade i got was Gorg.

Also should I just pour all my boosters into a blade when using them, cause I seem to fill them up pretty fast.

A higher idea level is better, but from what I could tell by looking at the datamine info, it's not by like a huge margin. If you're going to be opening a lot of cores trying for specific Blades, just using one booster of the element you want at a time might be better.

For Idea levels the most important part is you are always using the Idea that matches the Blade you are targeting. Normally this is the highest Idea for the character but using a booster will force it to a certain Idea.

So if you are targeting Vale you want to be using a character whose highest Idea level is Justice and it is not tied with any other Idea. In this case, you just want to dump in as many Justice boosters. If you run out, just open the Core without using a booster.

If you want Vale on a character who does not have Justice as their highest Idea, you should use Justice boosters one at a time. Using a Justice booster will override the highest idea check and force the boost too boost the rate of finding Dark and Light Blades.

i'm a little bit confused as to some of the motivations pushing the story forward, but i'm not sure if that's because i haven't played in a few weeks or because it's something that will be revealed as the game continues.

i'll just keep playing for now.

also, im not totally sure how this whole flesh eater stuff works in the universe, should i at this point?

I think you're at the point where the game expects you to know that stuff.

Flesh eater is a blade that consumes/merges with human cells. It makes them more powerful, they no longer go back to core crystal, and they age very slowly.

Kind of dark how you have mercenaries willing to assassinate a child so another kid can get into the choir. I mean once you get to child murder, you figure they might as well just kill their clients and take their money instead of the job.

If they did that, word would spread that they tend to backstab their clients and they won't be able to get any more mercenary work. They could still go around stealing from people but that isn't necessarily more profitable than mercenary work.

Is there a skill or accessory that negates fall damage? Because that'd be great.

Some of the shop Deeds that you can acquire reduce fall damage by 10%

I died to the boss, decided to clear some quests.

did kosmos's. some of her lines were a little uncharacteristic, but still neat to see actual cutscenes with her kicking ass again! also that little girl was totally meant to look like shion, right?

I also got Kasandra, which I am putting on 4th in place of wulfric. i have one last blade to unlock by core crystal, and I'm about to get poppi QTpi (i didn't really think to unlock her since i thought it was a story thing).

i also unfroze the lvl 130 monster and got my ass kicked right away lol

After a super long break (and re-watching all the cutscenes from Chapter 8 as refresher), I'm back to it and in what I assume is the home stretch. After the patch and Monolith saying "fuck you" to players, I decided to say fuck off to KOS-MOS so I'm just finishing up the story and then I'll move on. I guess I should still finish Gorg's quest and start Adenine's and Floren's too.
