I know it doesn't look like much, but if Hinamatsuri is done well, it's going to be phenomenal. The manga is the funniest thing I've read. So I put that at the top of my most anticipated.

I've heard it's better in some ways (Semiramis gets more development) and worse in others (Sieg's worst moments are cut from the anime).

Episode 10, which I just finished, did the show noooo favors in ragards to my issue with the boring fights, though.

I just installed TubiTV on my PS4 to watch Utena, because I haven't seen it. I didn't feel the need to go pre 2000's on the Wiki page, when I finally saw R.O.D. and said "finally", I realized it said 2003 and decide that was far back enough.

JC Staff is one of my favorite studios even though theyve also made some of the worst anime Ive ever seen.

I think it's safe to say that the name JC Staff doesn't generally fit with phrases like "excitement" or "anticipation".

Generally even adaptations you're looking forward to by them you'd probably rather be somewhere else, if you had the choice.

It's not like we're talking pre 2016 Lerche here, though.

If Ancient Magus' Bride had finished (and of course assuming consistent quality through the second half), Wit studio would have put out 2 of my top 3 anime of the year. Top notch quality in both shows in every aspect of their production, and Magus Bride being a significant departure from their bread and butter as of late. Hopefully they can continue the trend.
