Finally went and finished the KH event. Holy hell can Cloud pump out damage. If he uses his 3 hit cross slash before SG goes off, it almost always murders someone. Got it though, as my own cloud finished him with a DC omega drive.

Both Serah's Haste/Mag/Mnd and Braska's QC3/Mag/Regen are past their glory days (even I have Edward USB now) but they'll both see use in Cid Missions. Braska's robe is +holy, too.

Onion Knight (BSB)
Yuna (BSB2)
Orlandeau (USB)
Celes (USB)
Sora (BSB+LMR)

Was thinking of switching Lightning in for Celes after that draw.

That's a pretty awesome pull. Lightning USB and Raines BSB are both great. I don't know much about Haurchefant USB, other than it's a tank relic. Even Serah BSB (good ice relics are rare) and Papalymo SSB (assuming it's Leylines) have their uses.

Celes doesn't have a USB yet. Maybe you mean BSB. Either way, Lightning with USB will be better, unless the enemy resists lightning, or you need the Runic.

OK BSB and Yuna BSB2 aren't optimal for a physical team, but if they are the best Hastega+Buff and Medica you have, they will do just fine for now.

Ah I meant Celes OSB, sorry! It's Blade Unbound, which might be my favourite animation of the Soul Breaks I've seen.

I'm pretty limited in the Soul Breaks I have, glancing through them i don't have any other healing focused ones. I do have Ramza BSB (Battle Cry) though, which might be better than OK BSB?

Ramza with battle cry is definitely better than Onion Knight in that party. it's +50% atk, while OK's is +30% atk+mag.

BUT now you can actually start thinking about building a magic party with Raines BSB (arguably the best BSB in the game and definitely best magic BSB) so that OK BSB is still handy if you decide to go that route. a party of Onion Knight, Raines, and Serah would need almost no hones to function and along with Yuna would be 3 different mag buffs that all stack.

I have enough to make Thundering Quadstrike (although not to hone it), so I'm tempted to go with the physical Lightning/Ramza/Orlandeau/Sora/Yuna party for the time being

OK/Yuna/Raines/Serah does sound good although I don't really have a fifth magic based SB. Maybe I could just throw Orlandeau in or something.

for that magic party you could have the fifth character do breakdowns and let onion knight focus on nuking things. or like you said, Orlandu, since his USB has a 50% atk buff built-in.

or you could kinda do the opposite and use Raines in a mostly-physical party, since memento mori + his BSB opener + his BSB command 2 + burst mode is three 30% buffs and a 20% buff, which is enough to reach the buff soft-cap for magic just on its own.

basically what i'm saying is, you can absolutely murder anything with holy or dark weakness :P

In Japan the relic list only goes up to the last FF3 event so if things follow that way unfortunately Ysayle's USB will not be in that banner. Japan also hasn't had a FF14 event since the one we had recently so assuming it doesn't show up in a fest it's going to be at least over 7 months until it's available again.

Enki. Yeah, he's borderline necessary for that fight. Removing 1 imperil stack is a massive help. I also give OK Affliction Break, to make some of the imperils miss.

Fwiw, my only healer USB is Yuna, and I don't use it in any of my clears. Depending on the fight, I take either Arc SSB (pBlink), Sarah BSB (mBlink), Larsa BSB (Astra), or I go healerless with Edge SSB.

I actually don't use Enki in my Sub30 Marilis runs, mostly because even though I have 3 I never bothered leveling them up, probably due to running out of arcana and I don't want to farm Bismarck for a fourth one. I have more summon orbs than I know what to do with, and Japan hasn't gotten any new *5 summons since Madeen. The fire blink from Bismarck does fine for me however.

Meia was spotted on the global 3 Year Anniversary website, either this is a hint that we're finally getting her event or Dena screwed up (probably the latter)

I don't use Enki for Malaris, but (a) I have enough damage to consistently kill her in ~22 seconds, and (b) I use Selphie's USB with last stand to stay alive.

I think I did use Enki originally, but now I have a level 99 Kraken so I use that. The best defense is a good offense!

Got my first sub-15, a 12.81 on Liquid Flame. I haven't set times on most of the 3* Magicite since the game started recording your best time so I might do this for some of the other ones.

Oh god Josef, don't remind me. Not only is the dude mediocre at best the FF2 realm is short and FF2 events are rare (not to mention the last one was a full open one so we had less stages to work on it.) It's useless these days anyway, and Prishe gets the same one for less work.

Also I never did the higher difficulties on the FF2 d300 (probably due to lack of synergy and I think renewal dungeons were open the last time it was open) but it had 5* Bravery motes! Onion Knight is now fully dived =D

Now I just need the new wind celerity skill coming so I can attempt to sub30 Midgardsormr.

The XIV Realms on Parade thing really gets screwed by not including the last event. There are only 4 USBs, I already have 2 of them, and one of the others is Y'shtola's. It's so bad I kinda want to skip it.

Same here, I got most of the good FF14 relics through Lucky Draws or 100 gems. I only want Papalymo OSB, Alph or Yda USB in that banner.

I already have his LM while trying to get Ysayle's USB so I'm good on that. I'm gonna for Tidus' OSB for the native water boost though on that choice banner. Papa's OSB would be swell since it might let me get that sub30 on Isgebind.
