Alright so I got drunk a few weeks ago and reinstalled, mainly for raids but now I guess I'm back into it.

I'm really happy with this, honestly it's the best 75 mythril I've ever spent. Got my first real radiant shield (Kimahri and Ingus don't count since I don't have their respective chains), my first good healer USB (Yuna's is kinda crap outside of raids), and a decent number of DPS options and stat sticks.

I also stopped giving a shit about magicites and wasting stamina. Just playing whenever the hell I feel like it as opposed to min/maxing makes me enjoy the game a lot more.

Parade totals for me:

Rafa USB - I'm unsure how often I'll use the SB, but I do appreciate the 6* rod.
Yda SSB2 - At least it's armor.
Raines SSB2 - At least it's armor.
Gabranth BSB - Sword with +dark? I can use that.
Prishe BSB - Cool points for monk combo. Might be decent, too.
Paine BSB (dupe) - A second +water armor? Why yes, that'll do nicely.
Steiner USB - Well, I dig the concept...
Ward SSB - Sadly, obsolete for me.
Reno BSB (dupe) - I already have an 8*, so this is useless.
Edgar SSB - CHAIN SAW. Also Bio, in case that ever matters again...
Gogo-V SSB - I will probably never use the SB, but the hat's meager water resistance is still enough to cover a Gigas Armlet's weakness.
P-Cecil BSB - Would've been nice to get this in time for the FF4 Torment! Oh well.
CoD SSB (dupe) - A fourth +dark armor? This one I combined.
Josef SSB - Light armor with minor ice resist. Ehh.
WoL BSB - I already have his OSB, so getting his En-Holy BSB is the best draw of the parade.

JP got, and we're expecting to get, two 33-pulls (with one guaranteed 6* each). The first is free, the second will cost 50 mythril. Odds are pretty good that the 15+ relics of the parade will outperform the ~6 (?) relics of the 33-pull, so if any of y'all feel like your realm parade draws were a mistake, you probably shouldn't draw on the 33.

But me, I like getting tons of random schlock and trying to make teams out of it. :P

It was already announced in game actually, so we're definitely getting it. And yeah, the paid 33 pull seems like a trap... I did a few pulls withe the gacha simulator and it convinced me I'd rather spend the 50 mythril on a fest banner. But hey, the free 33 pull with guaranteed 6* is pretty nice.

Neo Bahamut is decent, Ultima is not. Neo Bahamut is 19.2/4, Ultima is 13.5/3, both AOE non-elemental, so Ultima is less than 3/4 as strong. On top of that there are four better 6* black magic skills on the way (with the expectation of more), while there are zero new summons to spend those orbs on in the next 5 months.

All that said, I would probably still hone Tritoch more before crafting Neo Bahamut.

Well I was planning on R5 Tritoch but Rydia doesn't have any abilities on the horizon that care about summon rank and 5 uses seem to be enough pretty much all the time. I guess Yuna does? I don't use Yuna a ton but from time to time. Maybe I'll wait and see if I accidentally draw her Summoning Ultra and go from there.

But Neo Bahamut seems like the ideal secondary summon provided you don't have a weakness to exploit with the slightly better damage and meter gain. R4 Neo Bahamut + R4 Tritoch vs R5 Tritoch I'm not sure which is better.

Krile's SSB is one of those relics that's been in so many banners it's weird i didn't have it already. could be okay for a CM, or maybe a jump start that's weak to fire since i have her BSB. it's also the fourth magic weapon with a fire boost and the third i've gotten in the past week.

Oh I didnt realize that was my third Tiara (VI). Now its my first 8* piece of armor. 8* weapons are Kingdom Key (KH), Platinum Sword (FFT), Heavy Vulcan (VII), Mythril Gun (FFT), Chaos Rod (X), and Buster Sword (KH).

Go for X for the water boosting 6* sword, it has more stay power and water boosting swords are rare. You can also hold off until tomorrow's free 33 draw to see if you get anything for those realms.

1/11 Setzer BSB. It's new, and looks similar to Vaan's, just with attack/magic, instead of magic/defense, and it's not instant. Still, looks quite solid as a support burst.

Haven't decided what relic set to pick yet.

Huh Lulu can use 5* Witch. That's kinda neat I guess.

I could almost see this soul break being amusing with non-charge Witch death shards. Although a lot of that appeal was lost when Chain Blizzaga became 4 hits. She's much better as a character than Rinoa at least so I guess having her as an option to tackle the Wind Magicite instead of Rinoa to not feel like I'm selling out is worth something. Maybe.

I almost want to do another one because there are kind of a lot of 6*s I want that aren't being featured in banners again for a long long time but eh.

That sucks... I really want Shantotto's USB because I already have her chain but her damage output sucks. The USB would give her 3x the damage (2x for ability double and 1.5x for infuse lightning.)

technically by that logic it can't actually be 3x damage, because if your hell thunder is hitting for little enough that en-lightning is a 50% damage boost, you'd be better off using chain thundaga, which is almost 50% stronger on its own and casts more than 50% faster.

now, if chain thundaga is already well over capping, that's when it could be close to a 3x damage boost, because en-lightning could allow you to cap on hell thunder for 60k x2 vs 40k. you'd also need 2/3 of legend dive, thundergod RM, party quick-cast to reduce the cast time difference to negligible levels.
