I don't get why people (BlueMonk) get so offended by someone questioning the details. Like, you didn't even throw out a conspiracy theory, just stated that something seems fishy about it. And it does.

The thing that seems strangest to me is that this one stopped getting talked about pretty quickly despite the very high body count. Then there's the no motive and timeline questions on top.
I haven't been following things very closely, but did the security footage of him taking all the guns through the hotel lobby ever come out? It would have to exist since there are cameras everywhere in Vegas.

they have no motive for the shooter so the FBI has been quoted as saying it could be until October 2018 when we get more info:

the problem is that the shooter is dead, didn't leave a note, doesn't have radical facebook postings, doesn't have clear membership to Radical Group X or Y, whatever. the FBI will have to follow thousands of leads, obtain warrents, filter through photos, subpoena people to interview them, etc.

if this was a conspiracy i feel like it would be a lot less fishy, that's kind of the point of conspiracies

It hits them the hardest when investigators have failed in their responsibility. That's about all one can gather from it. Anything else is imagination.

Wow, this place is sensitive to this. I never said the metoo movement was a concerted effort to get people to stop talking about the shooting. If that's how you read it, that's on you. It is undeniable that the sexual assault allegations DID steal the headlines though.

Also I never said that there was some grand conspiracy with an agenda. Just that there are almost just as many unanswered questions 6 months later as 6 hours after the shooting. That's inexcusable imo

Emotion has replaced rationality for many of them. They don't understand nuance or distinctions between much of anything. And it seems like one of the things that enrages them the most to no end is when you yourself stay calm in the face of their instability. They're so dramatic.

There was definitely a note of some sort left at the scene.

CNN's sources say it was his personal notes on bullet trajectory, but if you look at the crime scene photos, it looks more like the note was left on display for someone to find. I don't really see why he'd need to leave calculations paper-weighted to the table.
