UNDERCARD WATERBALL: B8UCA Heavyweight Champion Tom Bombadil v. edwardsdv I've been pondering my final televised match for a while now. There are many directions I would've liked to go, but at the end of the day, I figured it'd be appropriate to go into the final battle fighting one of my oldest rivals in a stip that means a lot to both of us <3 ~~I wanted to do a Submission match where you had to tap out or get fired but with my luck I'd manage to screw up the Mania card at the 11th hour :P~~ `Rules: Only one vote for each user per hour counts - hours are from xx:00:00 to xx:00:59, regardless of when the topic is posted. In the event of a tie, two votes per hour are counted, then three, and so forth.` Tables, Ladders, and Chairs: Whiskey on the Rocks (XIII and Nick) v. Dp and ZSig The main combo of WotR is back in action ONE LAST TIME! Dp and ZSig have dominated the last year or two, but will they be able to surpass one of the strongest teams ever? XIII and Dp have a lot of momentum at stake here, but Nick and ZSig are also gearing up for midcard title matches! I didn't ask to return to in-ring competition, but something stirred inside me, telling me that after facing Sultan, something more could be done. It turns out most of that happened while facing David in and out of this ring. I made it a point to be someone who turned the corner from inside the ring to match what I did outside of it. I did so by redeeming myself after winning the championship in a series of matches that should have probably went David's way. Instead, they went mine. I don't care what David says or does tonight. He will be BEATEN, just like before. He has Emerald to deal with, just as I have my own problems. But unlike David, I have someone's support. If you asked me what I will miss most about UCA, it will be knowing someone like Apollo was always there for me. My career means different things depending on who you ask. I remember someone telling me, "Just look at the people who want to fight you at the last weeks of shows. That's how far you've come." Well, I started UCA as Public Enemy #1. I like what Tom said about this match up being a representation of the future of the UCA, and it's partly why I requested it. When I was thinking about who I wanted to go up against at Epopmania, the first person I thought of was Strife. Obviously that wouldn't have worked because of Strife's duties to the Tag Division, and Emerald is a fine opponent to end it all with, but the time between Epopmania IX and our final match for the Undisputed Title months later was the height of my career, as well as one of Strife's fondest memories. My entire time as Undisputed Champion, I knew that we were slowly building up to David/Strife, and I'd like to think he thought that as well. Most of the other remaining members had either just finished being in the main event scene, had other title obligations, or were not extremely active, so as I constantly cemented myself as the "top guy", as I liked to call it, Strife seemed to be making the same run on the other side of the coin. That isn't even mentioning my brief time as Tag Champions with Sultan, where once again Strife played a big role in making it special. No one wants to lose their title, but Strife had been working even harder than I was, and when we started talking about how we would present our feud, which remains my favourite in all my time here, I was ready, and expecting, for him to finally take it off my hands. Something about that feud felt different. The writing in wrestling isn't exactly Emmy material, but it was one of the times where I felt like I was in a real life feud. Our promos and interactions with each other were carefully crafted, and for the first time in awhile, it felt like both myself and another person were putting on a great show together. But that time has passed us. Strife and The Kingdom are a force to be reckoned with, and I will humbly accept the privilege of being a part of the final Epopmania. That is in the very near future, though. Most of the other remaining members had either just finished being in the main event scene, had other title obligations, or were not extremely active, so as I constantly cemented myself as the "top guy", as I liked to call it, Strife seemed to be making the same run on the other side of the coin. That isn't even mentioning my brief time as Tag Champions with Sultan, where once again Strife played a big role in making it special. No one wants to lose their title, but Strife had been working even harder than I was, and when we started talking about how we would present our feud, which remains my favourite in all my time here, I was ready, and expecting, for him to finally take it off my hands. Something about that feud felt different. The writing in wrestling isn't exactly Emmy material, but it was one of the times where I felt like I was in a real life feud. Our promos and interactions with each other were carefully crafted, and for the first time in awhile, it felt like both myself and another person were putting on a great show together. But that time has passed us. Strife and The Kingdom are a force to be reckoned with, and I will humbly accept the privilege of being a part of the final Epopmania.
