I'd like to think it is because since he runs pretty well, and hasn't caught a pass in a game, scouts want to see if he would be able to catch well for trick plays. I consider myself more of an NBA fan than an NHL fan, but I'd much rather see the Avs make it than the Nuggets. In the NHL it always seems like anything can happen in the playoffs (besides the Capitals getting past the second round), but I know the Nugs would just lose in the first round in four or five games. Actually, the NBA playoff seeding in the West right now is a huge clusterfuck, with 2 games separating 3-8. I totally agree they should just cut it in half, but killing 8 playoff series is such a huge revenue loss. Actually I'm not sure 4 is enough, but it's hard to work it out when you don't have powers of 2. I can only speak with any authority about baseball, but the narrative that time off is bad in the playoffs isn't really supported in any way. It's just used as an anecdote when a worse team wins a series against a team that had steamrolled the previous series, but you don't need to have time off to lose 4 of 7 against a 88 win team even if you won 100.
