It's guaranteed to stump people? Is... is this a trick? It's basic addition and subtraction, right? -60+70-80+90?

I looked it up just to be sure, and the answer is $20. There's no trick or anything, it's just basic addition and subtraction. This is even dumber than duckbear's usual "impossible questions"

The only news here is that a lot of people on facebook can't do basic math and/or follow simple logic.

-60 I used the same approach as you. I am guessing for some folks they might look at only the first and last values, $60 and $90 and think he made $30. That or they might forget about the initial $10 profit and think he lost $80 buying it again thus thinking he made $10 in the end. --- "You must gather your party before venturing forth" "Go for the eyes Boo!
