Like, apparently a good amount. Are you among them?

If you're a non-washer and ok with making it known, I'd really appreciate your take. It just seems gross and inconsiderate to me.

Just after, though it's probably good practice to do it before and after using the bathroom.

Watching it now, and remembered seeing a poll a while back where a good percentage of men admitted to not washing all the time.

1. After I do something that might make them "dirty"

2. If you're touching the door to go out anyway, then the fact that you just washed your hands was pointless, as you just re-exposed them to the germs of the door

1. Still after peeing sometimes, just not every time. I drink way too much water for that.
2. Literally everything can be considered dirty.

Urine breeds bacteria
Bacteria thrives in dark and moist places

The amount of bacteria in urine is still super low on it's own in a healthy person, and most of that isn't really bad for you like most of the bacteria in your body. It doesn't stay that way because it's not really an antiseptic, but in an emergency fresh urine is still a much better option for cleaning out a wound than water.

While your dick obviously isn't as dirty as your taint, that whole area of your body gets quite sweaty and odorous during the day. It's just common courtesy to wash your hands after you touch it if you're out in the world (as said earlier, you never wanna be that guy). If you're bumming it at home, that's on you, but it still seems gross imo.

Dicks need stretching to keep healthy blood flow. That's the biological reason for morning wood. Doing it throughout the day is normal, and I see other guys do it too. In the presence of others, most guys don't stick their hand down the boxers, but in private or when no one is looking, yeah.

I don't, but I wash after every time I'm in the bathroom. There's no dirty doorknob or handle for me to grab afterward as well (the sink is outside the toilet room), so I know my hands are basically as clean as they can get when I'm done. I just went to pee right now actually - hands are feeling "Mediterranean Blue Waters" clean!

It's not, though, because urine also instantly picks up any bacteria from your skin as it passes. And there hasn't really been any studies to know the effects of the bacteria found in your bladder on other things to suggest it'd be good for cleaning out a wound. If you have clean water, it's absolutely better than urine.

Urine being good for cleaning a wound is an urban myth that faded as studies were actually done.

Frankly, the only situation you should ever resort to peeing on a wound is if you have no clean water available and the wound is already dirty and/or much too large for the natural flow of blood to clean it out. It's definitely a last resort.

Unless you just boiled it, water isn't really going to be that "clean" as far as bacteria is concerned, hate to break it to you. (But don't flush a wound out with boiling water either for obvious reasons.)

It's going to be cleaner than urine! If you've got something like a water bottle, it's much better to use than peeing on it. Obviously, water isn't ideal, either, but in an emergency situation, urine should be your absolute last choice.

I feel like you're focusing on the wrong part of the argument, which is "You shouldn't use urine on wounds"

Water is an "emergency situation" thing

Urine is a "Literally nothing else and even then probably shouldn't do it" thing
