I think the explanation was that the staff was made of Nth Metal. In one comic, the JLA was brainwashed (or was it only Superman, Wonder Woman and Flash? Cant remember) and Batman used a big robot suit to defeat them. The most expensive part of the suit was the onboard tracking computer system, which had to be fast enough to track a speeder. Once it tracked the target, it shot out frictionfree coating at the right place, which caused the Flash to hit a skyscraper at high speed and knock himself out. In another comic, Ra's al Ghul (I think) stole Batmans plans of defeating the JLA and used them. Flash got a mini seizure or something like that. And not too long ago, Batman survived a one minute fight against the Reverse-Flash with some luck, a big mouth and a batarang stabbed into Reverse-Flashs foot. --- GameFAQs isn't going to be merged in with GameSpot or any other site.
