Season three. I believe I watched the first episode back from the midseason finale and just quit. I didn't like the way they'd changed the Governor, loathed the way they changed Andrea, and utterly detested what they did to Michonne.

I don't remember the season, what was the season where the premiere had a bunch of characters over troths where they were getting their throats slit I watched half of that episode before just doing something else. I realized I didn't care about anyone or anything going on in the show and hadn't for awhile. They could've just shot down every character at once anticlimactically and I wouldn't have even cared at.that point. Such a boring and repetitive show that's always predictable aside from them being willing to kill off almost anyone at any time, but they do it so much it didn't really have any impact to me anymore, I just expected everyone to die at some point so when they did I didn't care. I don't know what made.me keep watching that long honestly.

I was losing interest starting with the awful bad cops arc in Season 5 and it only got worse from there. The last straw for me was the publicity stunt they pulled with the Season 6 cliffhanger where they stopped the show during the middle of a climatic scene (not to mention the comics most famous scene) to try and grab people to watch the Season 7 opener even though they didn't need the numbers to make people wait that long. Imagine if the original Star Wars cut to the credits as Luke was in the middle of making the final shot to blow up the Death Star. That's what TWD did. After that and the show's declining quality, I decided that I had enough.

The first half of season 5 tbh

Like Saven mentioned above, the cops arc. Holy shit that was boring as hell. The upside is, the second half is saved by the cannibals, which is some great shit.

After that, however; it was a pretty slow decline for me culminating in the season 6 finale.

I still think seasons 1-4 is one of the best runs in TV. The characterization was great, the plot stayed interesting, and it was just great to watch.

Hell, I even like the second half of 4 (which everyone hates for some reason)

And I also liked season 2 (which everyone hates too)

I stopped watching after Negan had taken Eugene.

I had lost interest by the point Negan had arrived due to their little "Who's gonna bite" stunt, and just wanted closure, but at this point it's dragged on.

When they spent like 3 episodes looking for some lost little girl, and absolutely nothing else happened during those episodes. For all I know, they're still looking for her.

I honestly don't know. I can't even remember if I finished the previous season. I was only still watching for JDM's Negan anyway.

I stopped there and skipped to season 3 a few years later. Season 2 was perhaps the most awful piece of television I've ever watched.

The Walking Dead has been all over the place for me.

I wasnt a huge fan of Season 1.
Season 2 bored the hell out of me.
Season 3 was only a tiny bit better than 2, but not by much.
Season 4 is where things started to get good.
Season 5 is the peak of the series
Season 6 went back down to Season 2 levels of quality
Season 7 was forgettable
Season 8 has been frustrating so far.

At this point, I only watch clips of the show on YouTube.

Whenever it was that they got to Alexandria. I lost interest because they were just repeating the same basic formula and I didn't care about any of the characters.

When they killed Merle and it was clear that Daryl was never going to die.

I almost stopped watching after the Season 3 finale, but kept going until somewhere in season 5. Every once in a while there'd be a cool moment or a good bit of acting but overall it just wasn't worth it anymore.
