Replaying Half-Life 1. It's amazing how well this game holds up. Shooting is satisfying, the level design/set pieces extremely good, and the enemy encounters are constructed in interesting ways. While lacking some modern touches and design sensibilities that are definitely missed, overall it feels like Resident Evil 4 in that despite being a template for tons of other games that came afterwards, it still does its job better than its successors trying to copy it.

So, I got a PSVR and a couple games for it. I have some thoughts.
1. Skyrim VR: It's really crazy feeling like you are actually among those ruins. Also shows me that I need to get a PS4Pro because the resolution and sometimes the performance on a regular PS4 is lacking. 2. Polybius: Damn good game but I absolutely suck at it. 3. Thumper: This game is god damn intense. This might be my favorite VR experience so far. i'm also not great at it. I've managed to finish the first two levels(?) with and A and a B ranking. 4. Job Simulator: Fun little diversion, but it shows me that I need to adjust my setup because there are parts that it is physically impossible for me to reach in some of the jobs. Also had some of the jiteriest bits while playing this.
