"Let's turn in for the night, we'll have a long day of traveling ahead."

"Yeah, that's true," she says.

You two dismiss your Summon constructs while Raven picks Domo-kun back up. She undoes the Alchemy and it returns to being soft cotton. She then removes the mind-stone with "Non Vitae", and returns the stone to you.

You two ride up the lift and return to the top floor. You poke your head inside Ops but only find Cyborg and Beast Boy having a lot of ice cream.

"I guess that game of Spoons is still happening on the roof," you say, knowing it probably isn't just Spoons. "In which case, gents, on behalf of Raven and myself, I bid you good night. We'll be taking off early in the morning to have plenty of time to get to Coast City."

"G'night!" Beast Boy says, ice cream still in his mouth.

"See you guys in... however many days?" Cyborg shrugs.

"Good night," Raven waves.

You and Raven brush teeth and go to your rooms. You double check your luggage and see you have everything you need. You set your alarm to be earlier, then change into your sleep clothes, turn off the lights, and climb into bed.

The next morning, you freshen up with washing your face and brushing your teeth before changing back into what you were wearing the day before. You bring your luggage and walk to the lift to wait for Raven. She walks out, wheeling her luggage behind her as she wears her high tops, a pair of jeans and a tank top.

"Good morning," you say.

"Morning," she says.

"Did you pack all your leotards?" you ask.

"Yes," she says. "And my cloaks, boots, and belts."

"What about your stuffed animals?" you ask.

"Only Domo-kun and Slithersby," she says.

"Well I guess that's alright," you say. "Let's just get on the road. We'll get breakfast..."

"On the way out of town. We can eat while on the road, save us time."

"Have you ever considered getting a car instead?" she asks as you ride down the lift. "It'd make stuff like that way easier to do."

"I suppose, but I can't just abandon Shadowfax."

"You wouldn't be abandoning him," she says. "You'd just be leaving him at home."

"I still can't do that," you say. "All the traveling I do, I'd feel so out of place without Shadowfax."

You arrive in the garage and you go to Shadowfax. You put on your helmets and ride out of the Tower. You find the McDonald's and go through the drive-thru. You order several hashbrowns, as well as a couple sausage McMuffins, and some bottles of chocolate milk. Those are all bagged up and Raven holds onto them as you pay up and head out again.

"Which would you like first?" Raven asks as you head for the highway.

"Hand me a hashbrown," you say.

Raven uses magic to hold the bag, then pulls out one of the crispy potato croquettes for you. You take it and take a big bite out of it, holding Shadowfax steady as you get to the on-ramp. You find your way through the morning commute as you head North and leave Jump City behind.

Things smooth out, and you take another bite of your hashbrown while Raven fishes one out for herself. You two munch all the way down, your magic acting as a shield from any dirt, dust or bugs that might fly into your faces, food or mouths.

As things smooth out, you put Shadowfax on auto. You then go hands free so that you can hold your hashbrown and one of the chocolate milks. Raven also munches on her hashbrown and sips chocolate milk, but leans on you for safety.

Time goes by as you eat more of your food, and you make good time leaving California. Of course, lunch time comes around and your stomach grumbles.

"What do you say to stopping and sitting still for lunch?" you ask her.

"Yeah, that'll be fine," she says. "What were you thinking of?"

"We can stop at a nice diner, like we did on our trip to National City," you say.

"That seems fine," she says. "We might want to make it a big lunch so we won't have to worry about dinner."

"Well let's see what we have to choose from and go from there."

A road sign says the next rest stop with plenty of different food service is another ten miles. That's fine, you can wait.

You cover those ten miles easily enough, and see the off-ramp for the rest stop. You pull off the highway and into the large parking lot that serves for all the different venues. You park in front of the less busy "Daydream Grill", and enter inside.

"Welcome," a waitress says in passing. "Go ahead and sit down wherever you like, I'll be right with you."

You and Raven sit in a booth by the window, so that you can keep an eye on Shadowfax.

"I like the smell in here," you say, the scents of bacon, cheese and chicken swirling around. "If I wasn't hungry before, I am now."

Raven chuckles while the waitress from a moment ago walks over.

"Hello there," she says as she sets down menus. "Would you like anything to drink while you order?"

"Some Coca Cola, if you have it," you say.

"Same," Raven says.

"Two Cokes," the waitress says as she writes it down. "I'll be back in a second with those."

She leaves while you and Raven go to your menus. You go right to where any burgers might be and see their selection.

"I like the look of this Ranch-Hand BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger," you say. "Applewood-smoked bacon, hickory-molasses BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese topped with two onion rings."

"Mmm," Raven says. "But I think I'll go with the Double Decker Clubhouse sandwich."

"Wow," you say as you look in the sandwich section. "You weren't kidding about a big lunch."

"Don't say it like I'm a glutton," she chuckles. "I'll eat as much as I can and save the rest for dinner."

"Alright, alright," you say.

The waitress returns and serves you the cola in tall glasses, then gives you both a straw.

"Ready to order?" she asks.

"Yes," you say. "I'll have the Ranch-Hand BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger, medium-well."

"And I'll have the Double Decker Clubhouse," Raven says.

"Okay," the waitress says. "I'll be back with those when they're ready."

She walks off and you sip soda.

"I wonder if your parents will be okay with you spending another 30 million on a plane rental," Raven smirks at you.

"Oh it'll be fine," you say. "They'll understand once they see it was to get us to London."

"Okay," Raven shrugs before she sips.

You watch her sip, her lips curling around the straw. She sips a bit more, then chuckles as she stops.

"What?" she asks.

"W-What?" you say back.

"What're you staring at me for?" she says, a bit of a blush on her cheeks.

"Sorry," you chuckle. "You just look cute sipping soda."

She blushes a little more as she smiles.

"Save that kind of flattery for later," she says. "It's a little early in the day to get that flirty."

"Alright," you say. "I'll wait until we're at least in Coast City."

She chuckles again while you sip.

The waitress returns, carrying plates.

"Ranch-Hand BBQ Bacon Cheeseburger," she says as she sets a plate in front of you. "And Double Decker Clubhouse. Let me know if you need anything else."

"Thank you," you say before she walks over to another table.

You and Raven dig in to your meals, you starting by moving the onion rings aside to bite into the BBQ Bacon Burger itself. Juicy patty, crisp bacon, spicy sweet sauce, and melty cheese, it's delicious.

"The fries are good," Raven says. "You like yours?"

You nod, mouth still full. Raven sorts out the four, thick quarters of her double decker sandwich and picks up one. She takes her first bite and seems to enjoy the combination of bacon, turkey, cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato on toasted bread. You two eat rather quickly, though still enjoying yourselves.

"So you'll save those other two for dinner?" you ask.

"Huh? Oh, right, yeah."

You ask the waitress for a box as well as the bill, and you get both of those at the same time.

$14.39

You pay $16, the extra $1.61 being the tip. You and Raven then thank the waitress and exit the diner.

"Y'know, if you want," Raven says, "we could split my leftovers and each have one."

"Sure, I don't see why not," you say. "Let's get on the road, we're burning daylight."

You two return to Shadowfax, Raven stores the leftovers in your knapsack and you put on your helmets. You ride out onto the highway again, and smoothly progress North. You ride even as the sun sets, so you and Raven watch it reflect off the water. She holds you a little tighter, in a romantic and loving way.

You turn on Shadowfax's headlight as night creeps in. You still ride for a few more hours before arriving in Coast City. You find your way in the dark, and return to Ferris Air. You pull up to the security gate as a plane takes off into the night sky.

"Hello," you say as the security guard comes out of the little booth. "I'm sure Ms. Ferris will remember us. I'm Rorek Null VII, of Null Co. The chap who rented the A380 for $30 million."

The guard goes back inside the booth and calls the office.

"Yeah, a Rorek Null has-- Huh? O-Oh. Okay."

He hangs up and comes back out.

"Alright, go right in. Do you know where to go?"

"Yes, thank you."

The gate opens, and you head down the way to Hangar 2. You see someone waiting under a light, and as you approach, you see it's Ms. Ferris.

"Mr. Null," she says. "Welcome back."

"Thank you, Ms. Ferris," you say as you slow to a stop. "I know it's a little late to be arriving, but it's just how it goes."

"No, that's fine," she says. "Though, you're right, it's a little late. If you're planning on renting the A380, it only just got back and needs refueling. Not to mention, my pilots need time to rest after their trip."

"Well, that's fine," you say. "We can wait until morning."

"Good to see you're so agreeable. If you'd like, we could let you take care of the boarding now so we can take off right away in the morning. Though, that will cost you a bit more than 30 million like last time."

"No need, we'll stay at a motel nearby," you say. "I wouldn't want to keep your people from whatever work they're already doing."

"Well alright," Ms. Ferris says. "Where are we headed to this time?"

"London," you say. "Heading home for my father's birthday."

"I see," she says. "How long will you be staying?"

"Oh, I hadn't decided on that part just yet. But the plane can fly back from London when they can, we can always find another way back to the States.

"Being able to rent an A380 like it's nothing, I'd imagine you can," she says. "And when would you like to depart from here?"

"I was hoping for 8 AM," you say.

"In that case, make sure to be back here by 7:30 so that we can load your motorcycle with enough time to still do all the plane's prep."

"Will do," you say. "See you in the morning, Ms. Ferris."

"See you in the morning, Mr. Null."

You turn Shadowfax around and drive back out onto the street. You find your way back to the Motel 6 you used last time you were here.

"Oh hey!" the manager says as you pull up. "I remember you."

"Yes, it's been a few weeks, hasn't it?" you say.

"Yeah, yeah," he chuckles. "If you're looking for a room, I hope you're still okay with sharing."

"Of course," you say, "it's only for a night."

"Well, you won't just be sharing a room," he says. "All my other rooms with two beds have been taken already. Some big convention or something."

"No, that's fine," you say. "$56 if I remember correctly."

"That it is, sir."

You hand him exact change and he hands you the key to Room 5.

"Thank you," you say as you pull into the lot.

"Rorek...!" Raven grumbles. "What're you doing?"

"Oh, Raven, come now," you say. "We've been intimate enough for one bed, let alone one room."

"Yeah, but at least with separate beds, there was the illusion of being reserved."

"Well, once we arrive at my family's home, there won't be a lot of time where we're alone together. I think one night of sharing a room will be fine."

Raven still grumbles, but doesn't protest as you pull up in front of Room 5. You put up Shadowfax's kick stand and put your helmets away. Raven brings her leftovers with her and you take care of the door. You turn on the lights inside, and see the inside.

"Oh I remember this room," you say. "Smaller bed, roughly half the size of yours in your room at the Tower."

"Yeah, I remember now, too," she says. "You had us snuggle in close together, then we learned Kitten's on the loose in the world again."

"Yeah, exactly," you say. "Let's do some of that snuggling again."

"How about dinner first," she smirks.

"Fine, fine," you say.

Raven opens up the Styrofoam box and you look at the two cuts of sandwich.

"Looking at it now," you say, "I'm not sure this will be enough for both of us."

"You're right," she says. "It seemed like more when it was the whole sandwich and that big order of fries."

"I could run out and get us something to be our side dish," you say.

"Maybe some onion rings. And some drinks, of course."

"And maybe some dessert?" she asks. "Or, how about getting milkshakes? That way it's like having both a drink and a dessert."

"Onion rings and milkshakes it is," you say. "I'll be right back."

You leave the room key with Raven while you go back out to Shadowfax. You ride out and head up the main street to find Burger King. They have the superior onion rings, and milkshakes good enough to match, in your opinion. You pull up into a parking spot right up front, and thankfully it isn't that busy. You walk right in, and see why it's not that busy right now: there's a robbery in progress!

"Seriously, mate?" you say to the man with the bandana, sunglasses and hat holding a gun at the cashier. "It's not even that late in the evening."

He looks over at you and points his gun, but you already have chi at the ready. You sprint over to the gunman in seconds, pushing the gun arm straight up. *BANG* It fires, the bullet hits a light, but you hit the robber in the chest. He coughs and goes down, and you bring his arms behind his back.

"Have you called the authorities?" you ask everyone in the room.

"Y-Yes!" a woman in the back corner says. "I'm on with them right now!"

"Very good," you say. "Um, could I order while we wait?"

"U-Uh..." the cashier says, nervous and confused. "Sure..."

"I'll have two large orders of onion rings, and two large milkshakes."

"What kind of milkshakes?" he asks.

"Umm..."

You crane your neck to look at the menu boards.

"Oh, Orea milkshakes," you say. "Okay, I'll take... One regular and one chocolate."

You then notice that while he gives the order to the back, he doesn't type anything into the register.

"Is... is the register broken or...?"

"O-Oh, no, I was just figuring, it should be on the house because you just saved us from losing a bunch of money."

"No, no, I should still pay," you say. "How much would that be?"

Now he types in the order, and the price comes up.

$7.85

You subtly use magic to hold the robber's arms together while you pull out your wallet. You give the cashier $8 and you get back your change and the receipt. You stand on top of the robber while you wait for both your order and the police. The order is done first, and you munch on one onion ring to tide you over. You get a bit thirsty, and remember to grab straws for your drinks.

You hold off on taking a drink just yet, you'll ask Raven which one she'd prefer.

You hold the robber down on the ground for another 15 minutes before the police arrive. They come in, you undo the Binding magic on the robber, and yank him up to his feet to hand him off to the officers. Everyone attests to the robber's attempts to take the money and how you stopped him. The officers cuff the robber and take him away, you finally take your order out.

You return to Shadowfax and hold your items with magic as you drive back to the motel. You pull back into the spot in front of Room 5 and knock on the door. Raven opens it up, having changed her pants out for shorts.

"What took you?" she asks.

"I stopped a robbery at the Burger King," you say.

"Seriously?"

"Yes," you say as you walk inside the room. "It might be breaking news in a little while."

You and Raven sit on the bed together and you hold out the shakes.

"So, do you want the vanilla Oreo shake, or the chocolate Oreo shake?" you ask.

"I'll go with vanilla," she says. "If it's an Oreo cookie shake, that sounds like a lot of chocolate."

You hand her the shake and a straw, and take the chocolate shake for your own. She hands you a reheated quarter of the Double Decker in return, and the two of you have your dinner while watching television.

"This is good," you say about the sandwich.

"Mhm," she nods while chewing.

"Survey says!" Family Feud host Steve Harvey says.

*BZZZ* The big X appears.

"Mrm," Raven says with a dismissive hand.

"What? You don't want to watch?"

She shakes her head, "No." You pick up the remote and channel surf.

"Oh here we go," you say as you select

"See No Evil. It's a horror movie, where the killer is played by pro-wrestling star, Kane."

"Oh...! Okay, sure, we'll go with that."

The movie begins, and Officer Frank Williams and his partner Blaine investigate an abandoned house. They enter inside and find a young woman with her eyes ripped out!

"Ew...!" Raven says but with a smirk.

A large figure with an axe appears! He murders Blaine, then attacks Frank. Frank's arm is chopped off in the fight before he is able to shoot the attacker in the head. Afterwards, detectives find seven bodies in the house, all of which have had their eyes ripped out.

"That was Kane?" she asks.

"Yes, that was Kane. You'd like his pro-wrestling persona, he's evolved into a somewhat supernatural and even demonic being."

"Sweet."

The movie cuts to four years later, and Frank and his new partner Hannah take a group of delinquents--Christine, Kira, Michael, Tyson, Zoe, Melissa, Richie, and Russell to clean up the abandoned Blackwell Hotel in order to turn it into a homeless shelter, as explained by the owner, Margaret.

"Oh this is the perfect start for a bloodbath," Raven says before sipping more of her milkshake.

"I'm oddly glad you're enjoying this," you chuckle.

"Did you make it to the end of this movie?" she asks.

"Not at all," you say.

She laughs while the movie shifts to that night. While Michael, Zoe, Russell, and Melissa go upstairs to the penthouse, Tyson and Richie decide to look for the previous owner's safe. On their search, they find a dead body. Richie panics and runs off, only to be dragged into an elevator with a hook by the monstrous killer, Jacob Goodnight.

"Oh..." you say with dread.

When Margaret mentions the elevator is being used, Hannah goes to check on the group, but is killed in the elevator.

"Oh..." you say again.

Christine tries to help Kira escape the hotel, but Jacob attacks Kira with his hook and drags her into a dumbwaiter. Christine and Frank go upstairs to find the others, and run into Tyson who tells them what happened to Richie. Frank realizes it must be Jacob and is then pulled into the ceiling by the hook and killed.

Instead of being killed, Kira is held hostage by Jacob, somethnig about her religious tattoos. She's kept captive in a cage where she witnesses Richie having his eyes torn out!

"OH!" you blurt out.

You close your own eyes and grumble as you turn away.

"Brutal," Raven says.

"I'll take your word for it," you say.

"Don't look away," she says as she pulls your face back towards the television. "This isn't even that bad."

"It's a man's eyes being forcibly removed from his skull," you say.

"Well, yeah... But that's about it. Relax, there's a lull in the action."

You open your eyes and look back to see Melissa and Russell alone in a room. You lean against Raven and Raven leans against you, and you both sip your milkshakes.

You have your eyes look below the television, because you know something horrific is about to happen any second. You stare at the drawers underneath the television, then down to the foot of the bed. You then spot Raven's legs, and your eyes lock onto those, wearing blue ankle socks to bare skin all the way to the thighs. God you love those legs...

"Whoa, she survived?" Raven says.

You glance up at the TV and see Melissa fell out of the hotel. She's still alive on the ground, but now stray dogs come! And they eat her alive!

"Oh...!" you say with a disgusted and maybe disappointed scowl. "That doesn't seem fair."

Raven chuckles while you go back to looking at her legs. She turns over and curls her legs as she leans on you a bit more. Her calves and thighs squish against each other as one leg smooths against the other.

You watch those thighs rub together while Raven keeps her eyes on the television. You can hear the remaining survivors running from Jacob. Then it's quiet again, you assume someone is hiding, because there's usually a moment where the prey hides only to be found by the killer.

A cell phone rings in the movie, and from the sound of things, Jacob finds whoever was hiding and grabs them. You keep your eyes locked on Raven's thighs and knees.

"Oh whoa," Raven says. "I don't think I've ever seen that before."

"Huh?"

"What do you mean 'huh'?" she asks as she looks up at you. "Have you seen someone's cell phone shoved down their throat to kill them?"

"No. Did that happen?"

"Were you even watching?"

You try not to look guilty, but Raven clearly senses it. She looks at herself and then looks at you.

"Were you staring at my legs?" she grins with a blush.

"What?" you say slyly. "Why would I look at something so appealing over something horrifying and graphic?"

"Oh stop," Raven says. "You can make it through the end of the movie."

"Fine," you say.

You look back at the television as Michael finds Christine and Tyson on their search for Kira. Jacob finds them first and attacks, but only knocks Michael out while the other two escape. They find Kira but are interrupted by Jacob before they can release her. Tyson creates a distraction, but unfortunately electrocutes himself with his taser, then ends up crushed by the safe.

Margaret then shows up, and reveals herself as Jacob's mother, who lured Frank back to the hotel to get revenge on him for shooting her son, and explains the prisoners are merely a "bonus".

"Whoa, this is some Jason Vorhees stuff," Raven says.

Margaret attempts to shoot Kira, but Jacob intervenes and throws her headfirst into a nail on the wall!

"Whoa what?!" you both blurt.

Michael reappears to help the girls battle Jacob, and the trio is eventually able to stab him through the eye with a pipe and throw him out of a window, where his heart is impaled by a shard of glass, apparently killing him.

"Wow," Raven says. "That was quite the ending-- Whoa!"

She reacts to you suddenly grab her legs and
