So its funny hearing all these people talking about how it was the best show ever!!!! when I remember people constantly bitching about how it wasnt serious enough, like the comics, and how the anime style and anime faces the characters made, took away from any urgency the plot had, and made the show into complete garbage.

And this bitching suddenly stopped the second the show was cancelled.

I wonder if all those annoying-ass people who do nothing but complain about Teen Titans Go will suddenly love it if/when it ends.

Going back now and watching it the animation is super cheesy, my brain forgot about all the silly looking slide animations and whatnot but it still manages to tell a decent story in the confines of a 'never say die' kids show.

Plus Terra is a perfect tragic character

They do when they give it a chance. I think just about everyone I've shown that gives it more than ten minutes finds it really funny. It's humor is all over the board.

Only the people who liked it and want it back still have anything to say, so they make up the majority of the current discussion. The people what didn't like it no-longer have siblings, room mates, or others in their living space tuning in for new episodes, and therefore nothing to complain about.

Slade was still awesome though.

I enjoyed the show for what it was. The Trigon storyline was good.

TTG is just cheaply animated comedy thats overwhelming shown on Cartoon Network. Only thing they did right was using the same voice actors.

It's about the content and they've addressed the animation at least twice, probably more without making full episodes of it.
If you could focus on content and make more, wouldn't you? They've made so much gold comedy.

It wasn't nearly as divisive as you assume, especially since social media was still in its infancy. Plus people are more likely to watch a cartoon than read comics, given that cartoons are more widely available. Not to mention that it'd be a *little* controversial for a children's cartoon for Slade to have a sexual relationship with the underage Terra

A) The original animation was hard work, and;
B) The original didn't have quality content.

TTG is just a cheapening to open up profit margins.

A I agree with but B makes no sense.
I'm saying it is easier to make more quality content that way, more not some or any.

Watch a few episodes with a good mood and you'll enjoy it. It's amazing comedy for everyone.
