But SA won for me thanks to nostalgia and a lengthier single player story mode. Never played GTA Online. Don't have gamers beyond casual level among my irl friends. Not everything works but most of the game does. And the journey you take with CJ just feels like an epic. It introduced so much in what an open world could do with customization and what not. Although I really liked how San Andreas had different cities and all the space in between. It made the world feel more expansive, even though I heard V was actually bigger it somehow FELT smaller.
