Just ask KARD where having a ton of international fans and a paltry Korean fanbase got them. I-Fans are really great at pumping up Youtube views but thats about it, I-fans are notoriously stingy when it comes to actually buying albums or paying for downloads or actually supporting an artist. Also its great that 25000 people came to see them in Japan but that lead to a grand total of less than 5000 albums sold between their japanese album and their korean album, not to mention their korean sales didnt rise at all once their song went viral, in fact half of their sales from their latest album in korea are being investigated for chart manipulation. They arent making actual fans, they will solely rely on if the korean public happens to like their next song to stay relevant.
