Hopefully it comes to the PC a bit later like the Crash one is. I've never played the Spyro games but I hear they are good, so I'll get it if so for sure.

I hope this turns out well, this is one of the few remasters I'm genuinely excited for. The first game is among my most nostalgic, I've beaten it so many times.

I bet they do it justice, and likely you'll get some sort of trophy for completing that minigame - something like "no trouble with the trolley" or "trouble with the trolley, nay".

I'm just worried that a remaster for it would just echo the flaws the games actually had, making them more visible.

I enjoyed Gex 2, sure, but looking back, it wasn't really that good.

...Still, I might watch a playthrough of Gex 2 again, just for the nostalgia.

That alone makes me afraid that it'd literally be a lose/lose situation.

If the update the references, old fans get mad.

If you don't update the references, new players would either feel lost or cringe at how outdated they are.

I don't think they were horrible, I just never particularly cared for them myself.

But they are why I rank 2 above 3.

...I still think both 2 and 3 are better than 1, still.
