Both of my top two QBs, Mauk (30 yrs, 83) and Foles (24?, 81) are on the block, possibly to move up in the first or just for a better QB/to get rid of cap space

Last year after the draft, KCF highlight the 3 players from each round that he liked the most for their fit/future potential. 1 year on let's see where they are!

Round 1
DE J.J. Watt (Redskins) - 83 and starting
HB DeMarco Murray (Hawks) - 88 and starting
OLB Nick Perry (Pumpkins) - 84 and starting

Round 2
HB Lamar Miller (Rams) - 86 and second on depth chart
FS Tyrann Mathieu (Jets) - 84 and second on depth chart
TE Jordan Reed (Pumpkins) - 80 and second on depth chart behind someone about to retire

Round 3
WR Demaryius Thomas (Lightning) - 82 and third on depth chart
TE Ladarius Green (Redskins) - 79 and only TE on roster
SS Shawn Williams (Colts) - 79 and 2nd/3rd on depth chart. Might take a few years

Round 4
DT Earl Mitchell (Wildcats) - 78 and highest rated DT on roster
G Reggie Buckles (Packers) - 77 and second on depth chart
OLB Demetrius Adams (Buccaneers) - 74 and probably starting. Jeeze that Tampa LB corps is putrid

Round 5
DT Nick Taylor (Vikings) - 75 and third on depth chart
WR Michael Floyd (49ers) - 79 and third on depth chart
MLB Brandon Thompson (Titans) - 70 and buried on depth chart by recent trade

Round 6
G Greg Davis (Seahawks) - 75 and weakest G on roster
C Jason Kelce (Jets) - 74 and third on depth chart
SS Antonio Moore (Hawks) - 72 and third on depth chart

Round 7
C Ben Jones (Bengals) - 74 and second on depth chart
DT Chauncey Pain (Colts) - 70 and fourth on depth chart
DT Greg Neato (Lions) - 69 and fourth on depth chart

To be fair, Thompson isn't that far down considering I run a 3-4 and Kassell is on the verge of retirement (and a FA). Plus I dunno if KCF was considering the fact that I was thinking of moving Thompson to OLB when he made him one of his Round 5 choices. *shrug*

I mean when you're picking players that far down, it's not like they are going to be starters any time soon. He acknowledged that from the 4th round onwards in his original post.

This was what he said about him

With the pick I gave the Titans in an earlier draft-day trade, the Titans select the player that I was going to select if available just five picks after. Jerk. The Titans have like 10 LBs, and even if that number drops, it doesn't appear that he will get much playing time. However, I have the feeling that as long as the soul-sucking experience that is playing on the Titans' defense doesn't destroy him at his core, he could be on the team for a lot longer than most fifth round picks.

Guys, I honestly wasn't expecting to get an offer I liked from a WR needy AI team but well here we are. I'm so sorry.

Titans Receive:
DE Zach Latimer (89 OVR, 29 years old)

Broncos Receive:
WR Keary Colbert (90 OVR, 32 years old)

Trust me, it hurts me more than it hurts you all! =(

KCF can confirm he reached out to a number of AI teams and that the Broncos are willing to make this trade.

I feel like the giants should receive a bit more compensation since they're getting a qb 3 years older, but they are rated the same and both are expiring so I don't have a big issue with it. No veto.

I'm fine with it even with the age difference because the Giants look to be in cap trouble and this allows them to lop off the signing bonus this year and deal with thr hit next year. Not sure whether that actually saves money compared to a longer term contract though

It was mostly a spur of the moment sort of deal.

Plus as youve been quick to note in the past Olsons performance hasnt paced with his overall and surrounding talent while Quinn has.

That said, I am fully willing to withdraw this trade if the league believes I am getting a raw deal

After I signed my priority FAs, I wanted to know what my cap situation was looking like and KCF told me he wouldn't have updated cap figures for me until like right before the deadline. So chances are that a lot of those teams that look like they haven't signed their FAs yet actually have (like the Titans).

Nah, that's fine. I figured you were trying to get a younger DT who performed well last season and just dumping the older one with a big contract since Raji had a good stat line last year in his first year starting for us.

Brady Quinn was pretty mediocre for us 2 seasons ago when we were hit by some pretty rough inuries, but his stat totals have actually been surprisingly good when you factor in my first season when he was backing up Hasselbeck (who got hurt fairly often during games).

His totals in my tenure are 447-744 (60.1% completion rate), 5487 yards (7.4 yards per attempt), 50 TDs, 23 INTs. Pretty good in all considering this last season was his first full one that he started for the Bills.

Granted, I don't know what he did before I took control of the Bills, and I'm not sure how much of that was a product of having Chad Johnson to throw to.

He's still on the market for anyone looking for a QB!
