I got it off psn years ago. Tried to play a little but it just didn't feel fun (also I point blank refuse to play games with inverted camera controls that can't be adjusted. I hope they fix that for the port)
I don't know if the ps4 trilogy will be a faithful recreation of the original games, but I'm just wondering what kinda game is Spyro. Is it like banjo kazooie, an open world endless collectathon fest? --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

I had the original and Spyro 2 on the PS1 and I had the Trilogy for my PS4. Good game if you like platform games.

Only played Spyro 2 if I recall. I enjoyed it so will be buying this trilogy for nostalgia alone.

I only really played the first Spyro extensively as that was the only one we owned. I did get to play 2 at a cousin's house and it was pretty fun.
But the first Spyro kicked ass. --- Hail Hydra ... Copied to Clipboard!

Spyro is awesome in the first 4 games it's the 5th game onwards that things start getting a tad mediocre.

2 and 3 are still pretty good collectionathons. 1 is the weakest.

I used to have them on PS1, but got rid of that long ago. Have them on PSP now though.
They're simplistic and average yet still fun, with the sort of wide and open levels you'd expect from most toon-like 3D Platformers and Action/Adventures from the PS1 and PS2 eras, but are a bit more colorful by comparison and have an abundance of castle-like structures. There's a small variety of mini-games which provide a break from the usual gameplay, with the third game having the most due to its inclusion of other playable characters. --- "Impossible!
