Am I the only one who runs away with the idea of something before even getting it? I did this before when I was buying my car.

Now I don't even know if I can afford this apartment I'm looking at but I'm already looking at how to set up the second bedroom as a gaming man cave

I'm looking at little bits of decoration for the bathroom even

I've always wanted to own an RX-7, and have spent much time thinking about it, but not a lot of time saving for one. I have $1000 down at an import place, but I'm extremely picky and want a top-of-the-line model, RHD, loaded, with low KMs and a low production number.

Can't say I get attached to possessions however before I've bought a pet in the past I do tend to get attached to them before buying them. Such as when I bought a hamster many years ago. My gut tells me I should buy a certain hamster over the others based on it's personality.

I was actually going to make a topic something along these lines. Occasionally there's something I see in a store that I really want, but I can't get it right then. Eventually the time is right, and when I finally do get it the satisfaction is immense.

In the case of games, books or anything mass produced, it's better when it's the very same individual copy that you've been eyeing. Like years ago a store had one copy of a relatively obscure anime that was a favorite of mine, but it was back when I was unemployed so I couldn't get it. A few months later I moved to a new town and got a job. One day I went back to town, and they still had that very same copy on the shelf.

Similar case recently with a collector's edition of a game at a store, but I just didn't want to pay full price for it. It went on sale the other day, and I put a hold on it within hours.

Yeah I think with pets its understandable, cause its almost a given you need to be attached before you buy it. Cause its by its nature an emotional purchase

I guess a house is too? Just feels like Im getting carried away
