The fact that at least one juror originally couldn't convict means there is reasonable doubt to his guilt. How does that absolve him of putting tranquilizers in her drink and then raping her while she is under the influence of those drugs? I don't know where you're getting your information from, but the jury heard far more and heard these victim blaming arguments as well and they convicted on all counts.
