One tap of the trigger shouldn't fire the whole burst
It's literally supposed to just be full-auto except it caps at 3 (or 2) rounds.

What the hell is the point of a burst mode if it doesn't save you ammo since you're firing a minimum of 3 rounds per pull instead of a maximum? It also makes it totally pointless in games where you can spam the trigger to make it essentially full-auto. If it were realistic you would have to let off the trigger after each burst.

These devs must know nothing about gun safety if they think gun manufacturers would create something that would fire with a finger off the trigger.

I've played ONE game that got it right and that was Far Cry 2.

i think its just inertia at this point. same reason shotguns and flamethrowers have the range of a garden hose.

A Lodestar's a Lodestar, but the Care Package could be anything! It could even be a Lodestar! You know how much we've wanted one of those!

Video games are just video games.
They'll truly emulate the physics for real world objects.
