I actually think we should streamline our justice system like this:

All violent crimes are ranked from category 1-5. The worst cases, including premeditated murder, mass murder, terrorism, rape, or EXTREME violence and aggression would be qualified for capital punishment.

There are simply some individuals that the rest of us deserve better than to live around. We dont need that level of aggression and violence in the gene pool.

Also, Ive heard that theyve made tsarnaevs live a living hell. I hope so.

My point is, even the constitution isn't unchangeable.

On a side note, I find it kinda amusing how the 18th amendment - 18 being the drinking age in most of the world - is the one that makes alcohol illegal, and the 21st amendment - 21 being the drinking age in the US - is the one that legalized it again.

i just read about a case of a man who got released from Prison after 18 years for a crime he didn't commit. there are cases of people sitting on death row waiting to be executed who have been released before being killed..

..while i agree that it would be nice to streamline cases like this, the law has to be concrete and apply to a lot of people in the same situation. Until we can remove the corruption and stop allowing bull shit like false convictions based on lies and bribes it'll be hard to rewrite the law...

and yet, like was already mentioned, some of them are not actually guilty. you just think everyone in prison is guilty. if you paid much attention to the news and shows on Investigation Discovery, you would know that people are constantly being exonerated and set free. the justice system is corrupt and lots of innocent people get convicted for things they didn't do. this is why I oppose the death penalty. you can't take it back after it's done, if it turns out to be a mistake

Yea...and despite all that, Corruption and false convictions still exist. to this day. try fighting against that to help ease the issue...but from what i've seen of your posts, when people fight against that corruption you tend to be against it....
