The off-topic flair idea for game boards was a really stupid idea, but otherwise it's mostly unobtrusive and doesn't really affect the board experience. I do think they should make misleading topic flairs a ToS violation, though. And I know the excuse the mods regurgitated out was it's so you can talk about whatever in a specific board where your "friends" are. Dear lord what a load of shit. If you want to post a topic about whatever it is then go to that specific board. There's tons. If you want to talk with a specific user about a specific topic so badly them pm them. Complete off topic topics - like a topic about the latest sports game on the pokemon board should not happen, even with the off topic flair I agree with this.
