No. I don't think they could get that many people to keep a secret. It's just a league where a superstar can dominate leading to a lack of parity.

No, because if it was, scripting the same two teams in the main event of the league's season four years in a row is an absolutely awful idea that has made a lot of fans hate the product and brand. The NBA wouldn't be as stubborn with the Cavaliers and Warriors as the WWE has been with Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar.

Why is it only considered scripted now? We have MJ won 6 times in the finals. The Boston Celtics and the Los Angeles Lakers have met a record 12 times in the NBA Finals, starting with their first Finals meeting in 1959. So why is it only scripted now?

Fuck yeah, Pacers would have bounced the Cavs first round if it wasn't for BS foul calls in favor of the Cavs. Now they are going to the finals

The NBA needs to implement a salary cap and other things for team balancing like the NFL did. They didn't do it perfectly, and it's still possible to have dynasties such as the Patriots under Brady, but it doesn't become a matter of a select few teams buying woo the top talent simply because they have more money.
In some sports that matters more than others, like the MLB for example you can't simply buy wins like that, otherwise the Yankees would have been and still be winning every single season every year ever considering they spend by far the most money. The NBA needs a wider distribution of talent to stay interesting. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
