You will be sent back to fight. You will be in the second wave. If you die you will be sent back to the present, but if you are just wounded you will have to stay until it is over. All pain will be real and you will remember it when you come back.

Not all of the landings were as botched as Omaha, 197 died on Utah, 350 on Gold and Juno, And 700 on Sword.

I'd take it. I'm pretty emotionless so I think I could deal with it. Easy to say I know without having experienced it, but that's my personal opinion. I could be horrifically wrong but I'll take my chances.

Just don't push forward, stay far back as possible. No one is going to drag your ass forward just to make it easier to get themselves shot. People will be pissed off at you but you won't get court marshall'd since you magically teleport once D-Day is over.

Nah, I just deal with adversity well and don't get emotional about things. Probably unhealthy, but it's just who I am. I find it difficult to feel sad or upset in particular. And I don't really have heightened happy or excited feelings either. I kind of just go, "okay" to most things and focus on what happens next, rather than reacting in the moment.

If your leg or arm get blown off you are going to feel it. Plus you will be seeing people all around you getting fucked up, all while bullets are flying all over the place. It is a simulation in the literal sense, but it is all real to you.

You can see why though right, maths and science are far more applicable than history. History is mostly just stuff that has happened, while often interesting it is not very useful for the average person. Even when compared to geography for example.
