343i said its a direct follow up to Halo 5 about the Master Chief. So its basically Halo 6 as far as Im concerned.

So the campaign is going to suck by default, because they've basically painted themselves into a corner narratively.

Presumably they'll continue their new business model of requiring players to read at least 7 supplementary novels to actually get anything out of the plot.

@ParanoidObsessive hey, I agree with everything you just said but they fixed the art style which is huge imo, so Im kind of optimistic about this one. His helmet finally looks like its from the original trilogy

Yeah, Bungie is a shell of its former self. 343is biggest problem is dumbass Bonnie Ross. She reminds me of Kathleen Kennedy. That woman knows nothing about Halo, why is she in charge?

@ParanoidObsessive that was one of the biggest fan complaints since halo 4. Im just saying that its a good sign. I bet they not only return the classic art style, but also classic gameplay.

Halo 3's shinyness, and Reach's weird...grit artstyles weren't we're ok, but Halo generally looks great.

I've honestly never heard a single person complain about it. Nearly every disillusioned Halo fan I've ever talked to are far more apt to complain about the gameplay and story.

"Trying to make it more like Call of Duty" is a comment that came up fairly often.

okay well you clearly dont spend a whole lot of time with the fan base. Aside from the gameplay, people complained about pretty much every visual aspect of the 343i games. and, we havent seen gameplay so the return to the old art style is all we have to go off of. I *think* theyre listening to us.

The campaign in the original Halo trilogy was great. Master Chief had a perfect conclusion to his story in Halo 3 but 343i just had to ruin that with 4 and ruin his character even further with 5.
