Any difficulty fighting them? They are stealthy.

I wasn't doing anything like that. Just trying to figure out the AC and stuff. I need to jump on that Lone Crusader site, but I'm waiting until either this weekend or next week because Friday is my last day of work for a couple of months (Summer break, I get paid for it)

I've never played in my entire life, but I have wanted to for years now. I'm just really shy with strangers, so I have a hard time just showing up somewhere to play. I need someone I know to kind of invite me, and I need a smaller group

Right now I'm just trying to learn how to play. I just did basic combat between them with a couple of the characters I've created. Just trying to learn so I can be better prepared for the real thing when it ever happens.

You got anyone you can teach how to play? It's way more fun with people you know. You can also look around online for a group to play with within your city

That's what I'm saying, I want to know someone first before I try to play with them. There are a lot of games that happen here in Portland, but I don't feel good (in my mind) enough to just show up to a group at a store since one I am rather shy, and two, I want a small group. Like the DM and 2-4 people, away from public places.

But I don't have any friends and I almost tried to play a game online, but it was so disorganized and never tried again. Private, small group IRL is what I need, lol
