I was venting to my supervisor the other day about how Im barely managing not to assault my roommate and how I have a strong desire to kill her if I wouldnt get caught.

I was just reading online how health professionals have to report if someone mentions an urge to rape someone specific.

I recall when I was talking with my college advisor that she said shed have to report me when I mentioned I had plans of suicide.

Do the same rules apply to murder? Im sure my sup wouldnt, shes cool. But Ive been careless on who I trust if so.

Have you ever sprang into a brief stage of wrathful anger at the mere presence of one person?

Have you ever bottled up your disdain of someone by repeated attempts of tolerating their behaviour?

Has your perception of someone completely betrayed the reality of them and how they treat you?

Have you realized your greatest faults because of the inconsiderateness of another?

I believe bad people, who are bad at their core, need to not live anymore. Ive lived through enough to make that call. Theres not many, but my roommate is one of them.

I just need to make it one more month. But everything about her just makes me want to smash her fucking face in.

And I dont like it. I want to vent, but apparently if its a danger, Ill keep it to myself.

I always have those thoughts. But I can distinguish between reality and thoughts. I also had a good upbringing. I don't hurt anything, nor would I, ever. I learned a long time ago to not listen to my stupid thoughts.

I know that mental health professionals are required to (see: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tarasoff_v._Regents_of_the_University_of_California ) but I'm not sure if this applies to other professions.

No, but I've never lived with someone I completely despise. There ARE people that I hate interacting with when I see them, and I can imagine if I ever lived with those people, I guess I could see myself having the thoughts that you do. So, being optimistic and assuming you're a normal person, maybe you and your roommate's air just really doesn't mix well, and you need to get out of that situation.

If you have those thoughts all the time about a lot of people though.... oh boy.

Shes a terrible, manipulative, narcissistic asshole.

Ill admit it. I was completely emotionally neglected. Anyone showing a small hint that they enjoy my company I would endear myself to. I didnt have anyone to teach me otherwise.

But this bitch used that to manipulate me. She purposely sabotaged a relationship I had with someone that genuinely helped my develop positively. Shed constantly appeal to my weakness to siphon my money. Shed not accept if I mentally was down. She used my abandonment issues against me.

Shed constantly disapprove of my interests. I couldnt listen to my music. I couldnt watch my shows. I never treated myself.

When she was upset, shed try everything she could to tear me down verbally. But Im used to that. It never bothered me.

But it wasnt until we moved in together and I met REAL positive relationships at my new job did I realize something. Anger isnt bad. Tolerance is not always good.

I tolerated and tolerated. I withheld my anger. Time and time again. Growing up, Id get my shit kicked in if I so much as disagreed at home. Its what I was conditioned to do.

Its like all that anger and frustration, not just with her but with myself, that I bottled up just burst at the seams. I vehemently hate her. She vandalized my car. Bloodied my face. Picked up lowlifes with my car. Used my money without authorization. Called me, and my mother out our names. Has lied about me. Lied to me. And shows no regard for me at all unless it benefits her. Shes a user with no future.

I got the apartment. I got most of the things in the apartment. I helped her drive. I drove out to get her medicine when her foster parents would not. I was on her side in dcs meetings. I made her resume. I helped her in getting a car. I was there when she popped pills. I was there in her darkest times.

But Id constantly have to pretend I never was down because Id be acting funny if I was down.

I am angry. And its good to feel so. It means I wont take this bullshit. It means Im standing against this. I know contemplating murder might be a bit much. But I just know Id feel so relieved if I could cause as much pain to her as possible. It literally makes me smile thinking about it.

Thank god for my new friends. Im volunteering. Meeting like minded people. Gonna be moving out in July. I just need out.

It feels good to say it somewhere out loud tbh. I have literally no means of venting since often times no one wants to hear this. Sometimes I cant help it, and drinking hasnt been helping. Kinda makes it worse, tbh.

Find a non-aggressive alternative.
It's better in the long run.

IF ANYTHING, doing something to that roommate is more likely to get you with worse roommates.
Think of it like that.
