Any general advice? Particularly on how to keep it fed when I'm at work :<

It has most of its feathers, but is fairly tiny (about 3 inches from head to tail). I got some formula and a syringe from Petco, and the bird seems to like it. He was chirping super loud until I fed him, then went straight to sleep :3

Try and find an animal rehab center and if they can't take it in, at least try and get the advice of experts.

Sadly, I couldn't get it to the Humane Society in time today, and most of the vets close at 5. The one that is open 24 hours doesn't take birds <_<

Ah, then yeah they'd probably not be able to talk. If you can, take tomorrow off just to find something more permanent or somebody to help care. Facebook groups for your area might have people who could foster the dear until it's old enough for release.

Google animal sanctuaries in your area.

You guys think they would take it in though? I mean it's just a run-of-the-mill common Mynah; the bird that annoys countless people here with its loud calls at 6 a.m. lol.

Although last week I found a baby White Tern. They're protected by the state so a guy actually came down to personally take it to a sanctuary :3

Sorry it's hard to see because he's basically a puff of dark feathers, and he keeps his neck close to his body so his face is hard to make out :<

I can try to get a better picture later, but right now he's sleeping and I don't want to wake him

He won't annoy anyone as long as he's fed. Right now he's sleeping, not making a peep (pun intended)

I mean, there's people and sanctuaries that take in every day raccoon orphans and the like. My family cared for a sparrow because the sanctuaries nearby were full, but their advice helped right up until a really regrettable accident. :'(

Well I think there are some people in my office who would probably care for it better than I could, but unfortunately they weren't around today lol. If any of them are there tomorrow I'll see if they can take it :3

Well yes, they are pests. They're either the second or third most invasive species in the world I think lol. But I'll still care for a baby :3

Also we don't have that kind of Mynah here in Hawaii. The ones here have a brown torso and yellow around the eye (although that's just the part of their head that isn't covered by feathers; I've seen Mynahs who, for some reason have no feathers on their head at all, and they're HIDEOUS).

Say, is there any advice as to how to keep it fed during the day? Since I'm out of the house from about 6:45-5, the little guy's bound to get hungry even if I feed him just before I leave. He eats that powdered formula mix for baby birds, but I don't know if he'll be able to eat that on his own without it being dropped into his mouth :((

That's why I said you'll probably want to try and take the day off of work if you really want to be sure the guy lives. :< or else, if you think you can get away with it, bring him into work to ensure you can feed him that day. If you don't have a roommate or friend or family member that can cover for daytime feedings it'll probably not end well. :'(

Update- he can eat mushed up fruits now (as in he pecks to gobble it instead of needing to have it dropped in) :D

Im going to have a storage of mashed apples and bananas to give him in addition to his formula so he can have nutrition and yummy goodness :3

Nope! Turns out that the vet thinks the bird is a red-vented bulbul. That's good news to me because they aren't as noisy as Mynahs, they're nicer looking, they get attached to their owner, and...Because of the red, I now have an idea for a name-

Ruby :3

After everyone's favorite airhead of the RWBY series :3

Don't feed too much fruit. Try to see if it'll eat seeds and stuff.

I read that they don't eat seeds much. But I will need to feed her more vitamin C, because their species doesn't produce it on its own :<

And I extend my best wishes to the crow that is annoying you now kingdrake :3

Yeah, a lot of birds lack the ability to produce at least one important vitamin. There's those oval things made from bones that a lot of them will pick at and lick, former roommates had those for their cockatiels. :)
