Just going by the 6* items, the first banner has 2 great items, 1 decent, and one extremely sub-par... OSBs are just not on the same tier as chains and ultras. Compared to the fest we just had that's not great, and then the two top items return on much better banner in 9 events it makes sense to wait.

I don't think Cloud's LM is very good (unless his second one is on there too?) Ramza's is great. There are so many good ones I wouldn't go with Bartz unless you're sure you're going to chase his USB.

Bartz' LM is also on the AOSB banner so you might want to hold off on that. If you don't get there it you can get it later on another Dream Select.

Since you already have OK LMR and pUSB you don't really need Ramza's LMR unless you get his chain or USB2.

Do you have Tyro's LM? Instant cast wall (or astra if you have his USB1) is a lifesaver in some fights.

I tried him a few times. I read damage reflection is a solid way to cheese him but I guess it has to be elemental with a chain or something cause I used Curillia's damage reflect ultra which is non elemental and it was slow as hell to whittle him down.

I dunno. His spamming of AoE Dispel makes it a fight I don't really want to bother with. AoE dispel generally makes fights less fun. Also his one shotting ultimate drain. And the timer gimmick. You just need to juggle too many things at once.

the only clear i've heard of like that was with 4 last stand healers as the other 4 characters, 3 of which were instant. and it took like an hour.

what about apoc++ CMs? i did the FF4 one at least. Rosa's USB isn't ideal for a physical only fight but it was good enough with godwall. had just enough offense with 3 BSBs and Edward dual attack buff support to kill within the 2 wall casts.

I skipped the FF4 apoc++ CM, my only good DPS is Edge (second best is Kain with Chain, Burst and BSB, but without his USB he still sucks in D200+ bosses, then Tellah and Fusoya with their supers ;( )

I did the FF8 one pretty easy however with a ice chain mage team. Have Irvine entrust Selphie and blind Diablos and all you have to worry about is gravity attacks.

I stomped the FF4 Cid's Mission. After my Rydia draws and my Cecil draws it's one of my strongest realms now. Rydia Edward Tellah and the two Cecils. I actually RWed Penelo's Ultra instead of Godwall cause Pecil has wall on his Ultra and I don't really have a good healer in the realm yet.

I'll never quite think using two Cecils makes sense though... although this is the one boss where it kinda does make sense. Next time, however.

Also Boundless Zeromus gives a music record with a cool track. Not a big deal but a step above Gil

I did it today cause of procrastination but I did it one try because my FF4 is kinda facerolly now.

I honestly think for my teamcomp Penelo is probably better than Aeris for that fight in particular. Elarra's prob better but Penelo is fine.

So in the recent FFRK report from Japan we're getting Orran as a playable character.

That's rather odd, we get him before Reis and Beowulf or more Tactics advance characters.

Also finally a FF11 event is coming as well, guess we'll have to save up for that one since the torment is likely alongside it as well, given how rare events for this realm are.

What's everyone's goal for the new torment starting tonight? For this one I'm hoping I can clear the highest difficulty, but there's no way I can sub-30. I have 3/5 of an awesome Tactics team: TGC, Ramza, and Ovelia are basically fully decked out, but my last two slots are much weaker. I have Rafa's USB but it's basically useless here. I'm probably using Gaffgarion since I have an 5+++* version of his +dark sword and his BSB gives enDark. Last spot is even more wide open but probably Agrias with guardbringer or Delita with SSS.

Ysayle's a better ice mage than Rinoa because her quick cast LM2 triggers off ice skills in general while Rinoa's only goes off Black Magic, while Rinoa can hit more elements but Ysayle can build meter faster with Vali or quick freeze and if you have the orbs for it her chase also triggers off Abyssal Shards doing a guaranteed 12 hits.

Also she's another ice mage DPS for the 5* physical immune wind Magicite and a mage team of Papalymo, Alph and Ysayle with Y'shtola USB2 is the best DPS for the FF14 torment.

I'm hoping I can sub30 the first two difficulties of the FFT torment tonight since I have the two most important relics Marche and Orlandeau USBs Be but since I don't have Ovelia's USB I probably can't cut the mustard on the last one.

i assume i can sub-30 the first 2 difficulties with ease on FFT torment. have fully decked out Orlandu and Marche, everything for Ramza except chain, Agrias en-holy SSB+OSB, Ovelia SSB.

might be able to beat the highest difficulty, but i think i'd need more hones for that. should be able to half kill it at least.

It's basically a free draw from a garbage banner a day. I dunno what the value of that in mythril is... 3, maybe? It's not quite as outrageous as you'd think at a glance, but heavily reconsidering the value of Realms of Parade if we're going to get that. And 100 gem draws as well.

Look forward to actually looking forward to daily draws again in any case.
