I had a dream that I won at Fortnite. I spiked the controller and then when I woke up I thought "I can't believe I really won a match, wow." Then I remembered that I haven't played in over a week. Happy friday everyone, let's have a great day and a great weekend

I also like pubg better. Gameplay is better in my opinion. But the game is stupid hard to run and the developers seem obsessed with adding extraneous new content instead of fixing bugs and other issues with the game. I personally don't really likethe building part of fortnite, but the game's way more accessible than pubg

My best Fortnite finish was 9, but that was in a game where I didn't see anyone until it was already down to 26 or something. Actually in that match I glided in so long on the initial drop that it was already low 80s by the time I landed. It's mildly fun to me but I'm not all that convinced it's really a good game.

Half the time I shoot people it seems like I miss even though it looks like I'm right on target. One time I got a sniper rifle but the bullets would take three seconds to get where I was shooting, it was like the speed of a rocket launcher but without the splash damage to be useful against a moving target.

I'm not interested in learning to build so I'll never get good at it but I think it's definitely a good game. I also won't ever play it regularly but every once in a while I bet I'll pick it up. Getting into a good fight or sniping someone or something can be pretty thrilling

I'll basically play it when I'm not really playing through anything and I get tired of raging at my main go-to MP game, Rocket League. Since it's so random/luck-based I don't really get angry when I lose, but that also keeps me from getting too interested in it.

My main issue with Fortnite is that you can go such long stretches without actually doing anything. I get that's part of the appeal and in a way it is kinda fun just running around but idk. Any time I actually try to get involved in the early fracas I get wrecked.

Sometimes the scenery and frequent emptiness vaguely reminds me of BotW and then I'll go up next to a steep hill and be disappointed when I remember that I can't climb it.

One match I almost jumped off cliffs/big hills like three times because I was ready to pull out my glider like Link. But I think that one is less dumb of me since you use a very similar glider on drop-in

In the early days after I had put down BotW every third person game would feel weird in my hands. I thought Horizon Zero Dawn was great but her lack of movement options vs Link was incredibly jarring.

Matt Carpenter was hitting .140/.286/.272 on May 15th. He's now hitting .270/.378/.561. Those are wRC+'s of 59 and 151 respectively. Baseball is so easy if you put your mind to it.

I don't know at what point it happened but apparently Carlos Gonzalez has a higher WAR than Charlie Blackmon this year. I got caught off guard by that since he was an all-star, though it looks like that's mostly due to his defense falling off a cliff. The offensive numbers are okay, but not MVP-level like last year.

I also just realized that CarGo isn't even a full year older than Blackmon so this makes some sense but it feels weird because Blackmon was a late-bloomer having his best years around the same age CarGo was declining

Carpenter actually just doubled twice in the fourth inning. He's 4-for-4 with two homers and two doubles as we enter the bottom of the fourth

Too bad his teammates were stadpadding and he got pulled (I'm assuming) because of the blowout so now he can't go for four

I hope he's not hurt because that's pretty annoying. He already set the record for total bases as a Cardinal. Well tied it anyway I guess because Mark Whiten hit 4 homers here. First ever Cardinal with 5 XBH too.

Remember in the episode where SpongeBob and Patrick sell candy bars and they resort to lying about them to get sales and Patrick says "it'll stop you from getting uglier" and they show the customer and he looks just like Patrick and says "just in time!" That's a really good joke.

Oh yeah. Great episode..a classic. The ending is really funny too, where they use all their chocolate to take out that old lady and her mom (and ruining Squidward's fancy night out).

Also did you all see that Josh Hader got a standing O in Milwaukee? I'm not even saying he should be in any more trouble than he is necessarily...it's a very strange situation. However a standing O is obviously completely insane and makes me want to root against the Brewers toppling the Cubs but I can't do that because I can't root for the Cubs
