Trucy: Apollo! Please don't shout when I am swinging said blade around! Somebody could get hurt!
Apollo: ...Oh. Ha ha ha. Y-Yeah. Sorry about that. I couldn't help myself...
Trucy: Hmph! You should know better than to talk to me when I'm on stage!
Judge: ...Mr. Justice, I'll see you in my chambers after court is adjourned.

seriously one of the best testimonies in the series, not just for the novelty of Trucy performing the trick during it, but for both she and the Judge repeatedly getting annoyed with Apollo for pressing her during it

Nahyuta: A business card...? Ah, yes. I read about this custom among businessmen in this country. I have even familiarized myself with the various replies. "How do you do, good sir?" or, "What's crack-a-lackin', homie?" for example.

this is the best Nahyuta

Probably, but I do appreciate how the awkward pacing of the case ends up feeding into the story. It felt like confronting Retinz would have normally happened on a second trial day while Apollo gets the chance to dig up his background, but instead, he has to do it on the same day because Retinz will own the lawfirm if he doesn't.

Teaming up Phoenix and Rayfa for 6-3 might be the smartest thing SoJ did (aside from letting Apollo take the lead for 6-5, that is). It gives Rayfa some much needed character development that she'd have been hard pressed to get elsewhere, and their dynamic is really unique.

Phoenix: Don't tell me...you actually believe that the real lady Kee'ra returned to kill the high rpeist?
Maya: ...........Don't be silly, Nick.
Phoenix: Huh?
Maya: Historical figures don't come back to life. I mean, give me a break.
Phoenix: B-B-But! You were saying only yesterday, how it was more fun to believe that she's the real deal.
Maya: Yeah, YESTERDAY! I wish I could keep on entertaining that fantasy, too, but the fact is, we're dealing with a murder here! Thus, my days of dreaming have come to an end.
Phoenix: ..........
Maya: I'm going to keep it real from now on. And you should, too, Nick.
Phoenix: (I thought you said I was the boring one because I was "keeping it real...?")
Maya: Sorry, I guess I've outgrown that stepladder argument we always have.
Phoenix: I think you mean "ladder," Maya.

This is one of my favorite conversations in the game. It shows how much Maya and her relationship with Phoenix have matured since the days of the OT. It also shows that they were both always "in" on the joke when they "argued" in the OT.

Tahrust's Divination Seance might be the best one because he deliberately took measures to conceal what he was doing and fool everyone since he knew one would be performed that would show his last moments.

I'm kinda confused as to why Phoenix would argue that Tahrust and Maya's positions were reversed based on the fact that he entered the spring instead of just arguing that he turned around and found a third party in the spring, which would be more beneficial to Maya's case (and closer to being accurate, at that).

The high priest being a rebel is a great twist because it has a unique effectiveness in this particular setting.

6-3 day 1 is also the one time Nahyuta's supposed ability to foresee the direction a trial will go feels legit because he foreshadows that he already sees his path to victory shortly after the Divination Seance ends, and then he delivers on it.

6-3 trial day 1 complete

Man, I can't help but feel bad for Phoenix. He does some darn good work completely destroying Datz's testimony to the point that he even admits that it was all one huge lie, but it only damages the case against Maya in the end (and he sees it coming once he figures out who A'nohn Ihmus TBD is). Also, I feel pretty confident in saying this is Nahyuta's best work, too. He comes up with several correct conclusions. He just attributes them to the wrong people. He figures out that the robe was placed over the warbaa'd statue to fool the Divination Seance, but he says that Maya was the one who did it rather than Tahrust. He also rightly concludes that only someone with access to the high priest's home could have left the warning letter, but again, he attributes it to Maya rather than to Zeh'lot. Nahyuta makes a very solid circumstantial case against Maya, especially once he accuses her of being the rebel hunter.

I like how Phoenix and Rayfa's dynamic changes from day 1 to day 2. On day 1, Phoenix is basically walking on eggshells around her all day long. On day 2, he feels a bit more comfortable around her and even jokes around with her a little. He almost starts to look at her like a daughter, or at the very least, views her through the eyes of a father. Then Rayfa is much more willing to help him in his investigation, and she clearly feels sympathy for him and wishes he would just withdraw from the case to save himself.

All the stuff in Dhurke's hideout in 6-3 is super good, whether it's all the stuff you learn about Dhurke, Apollo, and Nahyuta, or Datz's Psyche-Lock.

Maya might be a best choice for a new AA character. She is Phoenix's companion in UMvC3, correct? Still wouldn't expect her to do any better than Edgeworth, though.
