The problem is that if there is a serious negative connotation with being white in the Democratic party and the black support will only show up for a black candidate in numbers in which they can win an election, then it shows that the allegiance of black voters is to skin color predominantly and not to issues.

It should literally not matter at all which color, race, gender, etc a candidate is. But three times that articles lists being white and male negatively.

and this is the problem with American politics these days. There's hate in all directions because of an "Us vs. Them" mentality. This is why I am antipartisan.

And liberals these days get praised for labeling people by their skin color, which is something that DOES NOT MATTER. Why are they so concerned with someone's appearance as opposed to their actions and stances? It's horrifying.

The one that's "more real" is liberals judging people by their race like it's something that can be freely changed. Why are they so hung up on WHAT someone is as opposed to WHO? That judgmental nature is true intolerance.

The whole "birther" stuff was more because Obama had lived in Indonesia and was being dodgy about his birth certificate. It had nothing to do with race. Is Trump being discriminated against for being dodgy in the same way with his tax returns?

Race, gender, sexuality, religion, etc. does not matter. It's WHO you are that does. I treat people based on how they treat me. If they want to be a race, then I'll treat them as a race instead of a person because they want that. What matters is that we're all people. All lives matter - and I've been called a bigot by actual bigots for saying that. People who don't get how they're behaving offensively. It's why my social media block lists have grown tremendously. I hate no tolerance for hate and it's hateful to label people based on things they can't control.

The problem is that its used to create a false equivalency about historical and systemic prejudices that, yes, still majorly influence modern culture and the day to day lives of minority groups. Like signing the Civil Rights Act 50 years ago magically washed away the centuries of disadvantages that minorities struggle with.

If only that were the case.
