My opponent in my 20 team league somehow managed to put up only 30 points this week, with Rashaad Penny left.

He has Aaron Rodgers, and after that his 2md highest scorer is Corey Davis with 5.5. Third highest is Boswell with...2.

Looking like Nick might lose with the second highest score in the league this week.

The Mahomes owner in my league has melvin gordon and tyreek hill and somehow was only 3rd in overall points. And only a few points ahead of 4th.

I was up against Rothlisberger this week. But I have Gurley, and none of Stafford's TDs going to Golden Tate meant those two were able to drag the rotting corpse of Demariyus Thomas and the rest of my team across the finish line.

Hell yeah.

Fitz and Mahomes have been fun to watch. As an Evans/Kelce owner, I'm content to see them both keep it up all year. Here's to hoping.

Oh, I just now checked on this league. I need 8.5 from Allen Robinson tonight.

But in my 2nd ESPN money league I'm in a close game and my opponent has Allen Robinson. Damn, it only took until week 2 for this to happen, lol.

I need Robinson to get his 10 and for Russell Wilson to go off.

Wow our week 1 matches were almost perfectly distributed. If you sort by PF for week 1 there's only one team in the top half who didn't get a win (hi), and it was 7th, so the lowest score among the top half

5, 7, 9 vying for second best

Point is while each team has one or two that aren't necessarily terrifying, it's at the point where a large proportion of players who are starting have a decent chance to have a stellar game. This year really just put it into perspective for me that I prefer 12+ leagues

How do you all feel about gio with Mixon out? Is he more worthy of flex than Tate in half ppr?

I think it's a better matchup, and he's certainly in line for a lot of work. Should be a good play. I think Tate has higher ceiling though? Not sure.

I wasn't able to pick him up in my own league because neither Baldwin nor Alshon have been declared Out so my IR spot is sort of locked atm

I actually drafted Gio then dropped him to pick up someone after week 1, and just picked him back up this morning. Remember me saying I hoped that my league switching to FAAB would cause people to be more drop-happy and I'd get some easy good pick ups who had a poor week 1? Well, it seems to be having the opposite effect where nobody wants to spend their budget, so there's only been a couple waiver claims total. I got Gio, Cole, and Enunwa all from free agency this morning. >_>

Why were both Cole and Enunwa not rostered...

I also drafted Cole, too, which is funny. So I've now made 11 moves yet my skill position players are exactly the same as my draft minus swapping Anderson for Enunwa.

Well for one it's a 10-team league with only 2RB/2WR/1Flex, so neither of them would be starting on any roster at this point anyway. But yes I was still a little surprised nobody moved on them. A portion of my league likes to roster 2 QBs for whatever reason.

Wow I just realized Bears D/ST was in free agency, too. I'll take that matchup against the cardinals, thanks. My faith in my league has diminished today haha

I am constantly posting stuff in our chat and striking up conversations to get people to be more tuned into the fantasy world. I guess you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

The one waiver wire pickup someone in my league made this week was Lindsay...but he dropped Michel in the process. My claim for him is already pending.

Yep, I mean it's a group of coworkers who like NFL first and fantasy as kind of an afterthought. I've been trying to push the envelope but they don't really care as much, which is probably why I ultimately joined multiple other leagues. To get my fix without having to aggravate them with incessant tidbits they don't care about

Do you have the depth at RB to be fine without Coleman?

If yes, do it ASAP IMO. I think Cole will be closer to his week 1 #s whenever Fournette is on the field and OBJ will definitely bounce back. I really think last week was an anomaly w.r.t Barkley's sheer number of targets.

If not, still maybe do it.

Yeah I thought roughly the same. Basically after I grabbed michel I didn't have anyone on my bench I felt good just flat out dropping, so I needed to find a good 2-for-1 to free up a spot (because I dropped a kicker for Michel)

OBJ owner is in a bad spot at RB (DJ and Shady). He's also 0-2 so I figured he'd value Coleman right now.

I sent the trade and within 10 minutes got a notification. Assumed it was a decline but he actually accepted.

My RBs after that are: Zeke, Lewis, Bernard, Williams, Michel

Potentially weak at RB2 depending on how things shake out but my WRs are now Hopkins, OBJ, Evans, Tate, Davis, Enunwa

That's a pretty loaded WR group

I'm guessing you took Zeke 4th, but that still means Hopkins fell pretty deep in the 2nd

I got Zeke 5th because someone took AB 4th. (a steelers fan who dominated the PF last year with Gurley, Hyde, AB, Jags D)

At our preseason meeting where we discuss any scoring/rule/league changes, it was pointed out that our overall top scorers last year was dominated by RBs. So...I guess due to that fact, people were RB-happy early? Me getting Hopkins was the combo of that (12 RBs in the first 14 picks) plus a guy taking Russell Wilson 2nd round (because he was like a top 3 overall scorer in our league last year >_>) and then someone taking Julio over Hopkins. I didn't ask him about it but I assume it's because ESPN actually had Julio a spot higher on their list at the time.

So on one hand, my opponent's Hyde has 24.5 points. But on the other hand, I'm still projected to win and I don't even have a kicker in my lineup yet.

Julio Jones is better than Hopkins.

Elliot at the 5th pick is pretty shaky imo depending on league rules.
