Chris said in a game full of power players it is best to take out a middle of the road player because it leaves members of town suspicious of why those power players are still alive. (This lead to Red getting looked at very heavily in Tiny Toons Mafia)

I don't recall Corrik saying he was a BG, I saw that he said "don't kill me, I'm protection, thanks" and thus as opposed to counterclaiming I felt it was best that I blocked him because worst case scenario I saved town protection, best case scenario I blocked scum.

I inquired if I was forced to save someone every night. I was told I am not compulsive so am not forced to act. I was thrilled because I don't want to die for any of you plebs because I am Town's only hope.

The bold section is rather interesting. Also, if in my search there is a lot of bodyguard talk by members of scum/assumed to be scum which is kind of curious.

What is really weird is that Corrik claims, unpressured, in the middle of the twilight. Also, after admitting he wasn't reading the game. He then proceeds to throw Zam under the bus after spending parts of the day defending said Zam. Corrik, why did you claim?

One more weird thing about Corrik's claim, there is no speculation, no one talks about it outside of Scare calling it bullshit.

Reading is hard, guys. Corrik did claim bodyguard yesterday after having first just said protection, it was obvious what Corrik was saying about being blocked, "defeatist" doesn't mean "wouldn't give up even if caught scum" and I didn't claim doctor, I claimed Jack with a doc save. Hard work, but don't worry, I've got you.

Still sticking with Zach being town here, I know some people think he's being too evasive or not giving enough content or seeking too much credit, but have you paid attention to Zach in his town games? One liners, bragging about himself for no reason, getting annoyed at being expected to justify his reads and going nuts at the slightest hint someone thinks he's scum are kind of what he does.

If Scare is town (still think this is likely, since sacrificing himself to kill me is dumb,), Ben and PJ are worth taking a good look at because when things first started going down between Scare and I, they just kind of ignored it for a while (Ben eventually got involved, but it was pretty delayed). If Scare is town, scum would know that was town on town and might be content to just let it play out in the hopes one town power got the other killed (and then themselves for being wrong, possibly). Zach and Puns kind of also did it, but I buy them as town (Puns for obvious reasons, Zach because ^^^)

I'm a bit leery of Tange for his lack of content and just jumping to bad conclusions for no reason (thinking Zach was scum for joking about being independent, thinking Corrik claimed scum who submitted a kill but got blocked...apparently that strikes a lot of people as reasonable though!) but I don't necessarily put much stock in it, I just played in Puns' game on the other board and Tange was town who barely posted, gave little to no reason for most of what he said and generally didn't do much. Don't judge him by your standards, judge him by his standards, and while he does seem a bit more eager to jump on obviously dumb excuses for suspicion here, it's not unreasonable to see him being like this as town.

Of the low activity crew, EDumey is the one who stands out the most to me, it's been ages but I remember him being a solid player who normally does stuff. He rubbed me the wrong way early (this is kind of a gut feeling, I can't really put it into words), and a lot of the other low activity guys have excuses of some sort (MZero is almost always inactive, FD has his crazy work schedule though I still do lean scum on him from how empty his big post about Leo and trees was, IGCD has had some sporadic availability of late IIRC). Red sticks out as the other name barely doing anything, but it's not like he doesn't have low activity early games a lot. His posts have been lighter on reads than usual but I'm not sure to what extent it's a scum tell and to what extent it's just lack of motivation or being too busy to play or whatever.

I generally ignore any claim Corrik makes. If I gave the same "This is fake" response every time he did it then it wouldnt help anything. Plus I like to let him do his thing because if he is town his fake claims DO actually trip up scum pretty often.
