I was considering doing either a big mash on MU next year or a sort of "all five books" kinda retrospective game here later on.

But both of those will still be done before the next book comes out probs.

At least we have "Fuck 2018 Mafia" to look forward to still.

Are you on MU? If not you should go there for your EPIC HUGE SECRET GAME. They really have the player base for the kind of game you're imagining. You'll likely need to host one standard game first because I don't think they allow people to host mashes without one standard game under their belt, but your game really needs like 30+ players to work like you're envisioning.

It also needs to be labeled as experimental, but they love that sort of stuff over there.

I think around 80 or so is about the perfect size for the mash. I can actually get reads on most of the game by day 2 or 3 that way, and it still allows for the random chaos and insanity inherent in a mash.

132 is too much.

Yeah but if literally Chris' game attracts drama then whose hosting is "good enough" to actually respect the game? It's very disheartening for me to idly watch. That's all I'll say on the matter.

Anyway to speak of hosting, Persona 5 mafia, at least from me, is canceled. Set up wise at least. If anyone wants the flavor and my set up let me know (pm/discord). This community obviously can't field a 21 man game, which is sad, but I don't truncate my setups.

If you absolutely must complain, wait until the game is over in the post game discussion, because that's just sort of what we do. Talk then. People complain in post game literally all the time. There is nothing wrong in complaining about balance or set up or decisions in the post game and some other people might even join you. The louder your scream before that the more we'll ignore you.

Fuck yeah the good old mercenaries strategy of complain loudly, it's the equivalent to a political filibuster where you read quotes from self published self help booklets and such

I actually didn't have problem with him before this at all. He hosted a busted game one time, but a lot of newbies does that and he seemed to have a generally positive energy.

But he's interrupted the game three different times now and people are still playing and trying to have fun. No bueno.
