What I have been thinking of doing is heavily customizing the look of that software, but keeping the features it has. I've been pretty busy with my day job lately and it's only going to be busier once a big project starts this month, so I don't have much free time lately.

It has all the features I planned on adding, such as sharex support, drag and drop uploading, better albums, etc. Plus I can change the design to keep it very similar to how it is now. But I wanted to get some feedback before I do anything. Thanks everyone

That "2 MB limit" mentioned on that site is the only worrisome thing IMO. That's way too small of a limit to be used for gifs without making them tiny or crappy quality. Besides that, I don't see any issues, so if you can get around that and set a more reasonable file size limit (like 6 or 8 MB) then it should be good.

That's just what their demo is set to. I'd be able to customize pretty much everything, including the max upload size

It's almost where I want it to be, save for one bug and a couple missing features that I think would make it easier to use.

Uploading by pasting the image I have saved on my clipboard would be nice to have.

This is one of the things I'm sure will make it easier to use, not having to save and reupload.

Thank you for the feedback guys. Glad to hear it's a pretty well-supported idea. I'm going to purchase a license for it tonight and start working on converting the database over the weekend, though it'll still be a bit of time before the actual site changes over (unless for some reason the majority of users end up being against it).

Hmm. Any chance you have an example link I could test? If it's an imgur link, they may have recently made changes to their site that affect how imgtc copies the image.
