Indeed. Really enjoying their new album. TalkTalk is probably one of my favorite songs they've put out. Beautiful and haunting with a powerful message.

I'm assuming you like Tool as well? Another one of my favorite bands.

i loved them and still do. But honestly their new album as meh. They've never quite captured what they had with Mer De Noms. But still enjoyable.

I used to love Tool as well but I perfect APC now. Tool fell far too in love with their own experimentation and concepts. I prefer that APC still makes music thats a bit more accessible even while still maintaining their identity.

It's a shame your opinions on identity politics aren't as good as your taste in music.

Still one of the best tracks I've ever heard. On par with my favorite tracks from Master of Reality by Black Sabbath tbqh, and I've listened to that album hundreds of times in the couple of months since I was introduced to it.

Tool is my all time favorite band. And as for APC's new album, I really like the soft slow songs the best.

They're not really prog at all. Just basic alt rock I'd say.

APC is great. I've seen them live three times, twice in support of EtE.

TC, since you like APC and Tool, have you heard Puscifer? that's Maynard's other project and they're quite good. Carina Round's harmonies with Maynard are superb.

This new album has a couple trash songs, but is mostly fine, especially for how long the layoff was. I agree TalkTalk is really great.

The first 2 albums were pretty stellar imo

3 Libras changed the way I looked at music, though I think they peaked with Thirteenth Step. Not a fan of their latest album, but whatever. Puscifer went from being a comedy band to legit. Conditions of My Parole is a great album. Seen all 3 of Maynard's acts live. All were phenomenal, but Tool was the best.
