Huh, I guess I didnt realize anybody even really cared about Geno. All I remember is he sorta looked like Puppetmon from Digimon.

Sora being owned by Disney is a major mark against, because none of the other speculated "Square Enix" characters have such rights issues surrounding them.

Looks like KP's poll dropped from 90% to 82% since he posted that screenshot-- kinda why I was saying 86% wasn't all that comfortably over 80% with the sample size.

Still has a bigger recognition rate than I'd given him credit for either way in any case.

He has, although the recognition of Undertale itself is at 95% which is really high. Although the poll is probably somewhat biased towards Undertale simply because people who don't care about it are less likely to vote in the first place.

I'd be fine with making a Phoenix poll, but if I do that I might as well make a google docs poll asking the same questions for a bunch of more obscure characters. Probably like:

Geno seems extremely likely. It's one of the most fan-requested characters (nearly all the other high ones have been confirmed, besides untenable ones like Goku) in a game that seems to really be catering to fans when it comes to choices like that.

I dunno if anyone posted this yet, but the Best Buy Canada descriptions for the Wolf, Ridley and Inkling amiibos confirms you can use them to unlock them right away

Which leads to the question: will you be using your amiibos to unlock characters or are you doing it the old fashioned way?

Especially since basically all of the characters I most want to play aren't from the original. It sucks that even after I get the game I'll still need to spend possibly hours playing before I can actually be free to pick the dude I actually want to play

Sans would be very easy to adapt. Bone spam, telekinesis, and Gaster Blasters would make for a pretty varied moveset.

The issue would be trying to adapt telekinesis into a moveset

Just look at Mewtwo, a character known for his telekinesis. TK is only used in his grabs because it's not a directly physical ability like everything else
