Inviso 08/15/18 4:56:25 PM #1:	FF6 takes its second hit, and after a reasonably short round, it's time to bump up the save count a little. Rules: - You personally (No bots/scripts/lending of accounts) can save 1 character per hour. - A character needs 3 votes to be saved. - 3 unique users need to save a character for that character to be saved. - Ambiguous (i.e. "Cid" or "Cloud") or "If X, then Y" saves will not count. - Last character unsaved is eliminated. - No alts, no rallying, no post deletion/editing (unless correcting an update), no spoiler tags. Save trading is A-OK! - If you want to update, make sure it's accurate. - Only Inviso can start up new topics. - Community Rule is in effect. Deliberate rules violations will result in bans. Auron is a simple case for why I like him: in a game as overly happy and peppy and inane as Final Fantasy X, Auron stands out as a unique character. But his somber attitude isn't either complete nothingness like Kimahri, or low-key bitchcraft like Lulu. No, Auron shows up to serve as the one "older" member of the traditional group of youngsters found in most Final Fantasy games. And at first, it seems like he's a stereotypical badass (which, don't get me wrong, is enough to make this list, but not the top ten), but then we get backstory on his journeys with Braska and Jecht, and we learn about Auron's younger self, as a dedicated and loyal friend. The man died, yet refused to pass on, because his work was unfinished. And thus, he worked with Tidus/Yuna, the SUPER FUCKING INFERIOR descendants of his friends, to help them complete the mission he never could.
