Regarding Alvarez, The thing is, at the minute, Becky could shave Charlotte BALD and *still* cheered for it.

Pleased the New Day finally won titles after not having them for sooooo long, so that's brightened my mood no end! :) SD had a that classic feel not only with the main event but with Jeff beating seven bells out of Randy post-match.

Liking the bite shown so far.

They edited out the parts about the fans it looks like, but they kept in all the Becky support and crowd reactions it seems like. They edited all the really wretched stuff though I guess.

But did they really just try to have Becky run away from the brawl at one point? Lol this fucking company.

This is really interesting, based on what they chose to edit. They take out the shots at the fans and keep in the stuff where people cheer for Becky. That actually seems like they might have realized that they're not going to get people to boo Becky, so maybe there is hope that she'll go back to being a face, just one that hates Charlotte (or better yet, turn Charlotte). We'll have to see where this goes next week.

Why must you ruin my hopes and dreams with logic! I just want a world where Becky gets a legitimate run as champion when they're not booking her like shit. Why does it have to be a "A: Becky is champion. B: Becky isn't booked like shit. Choose one" type of scenario.

I saw someone post something about how Vince McMahon assumes Becky should be the heel because he doesn't understand the concept of Charlotte inserting herself into the title picture and taking away Becky's thunder and robbing the title from her because Vince has never had a real friend like that. So he thinks that Becky must only be lashing out over jealousy for Charlotte's success rather than be upset over Charlotte not allowing her to have success and stepping all over her.

Kinda makes you think.

I dont understand what people are saying to me when they say, well done, because I went in there with the intention of winning the title and I currently do not have a title. And I have been burning a hole through the Womens Division on SmackDown Live for the past few months and then Charlotte shows up and she gets handed a title opportunity and opportunistic as ever when I had that match won, she snuck in and she stole my victory from me one more time. And again she gets handed the gold and Im left on the sidelines.

So okay the crowd the cheered, but what does that mean when I havent accomplished anything? And Im left there with one title while shes had seven - maybe eight if you count NXT - Im supposed to be satisfied with that? Im supposed to be happy with that? Thats not enough for me.

I appreciate that they wanted to see me win, but I didnt get the gold and I think Ive been preoccupied too much by keeping people on my side. And that hasnt done me any favors. I have to re-evaluate everything and re-evaluate what I was putting my priorities on. And if that was getting the crowd on my side, if that was getting a friend on my side? Then Ive been doing it wrong, because theres one reason why I came to WWE and that was to be great and Im not achieving that.

So I have to look at everything, and look at the fact that Im not on the front of the posters all the time. Im not on the front of the DVDs. And why is that? Its certainly not because of me. Because I have been working my ass off the entire time Ive been here. I havent dropped the ball once. But any time that Charlotte Flair shows up, then its all about her. Its all about her.

When I was the first woman drafted to SmackDown Live, this show was entirely about me. This show was entirely about me. That title was built because of me. Because the people wanted me to have a championship. Because I deserved it. And because Charlotte Flair had stolen it from me, time and time again, when it was the Divas Title, or when it was the Womens Title and before there was a brand split. And then of course she gets drafted to SmackDown Live and again, it becomes all about her.

In 2017, I had one title match and that was at WrestleMania and it was a six-way? I havent been given a fair shot at all. I am the best on this roster, both Raw and SmackDown and Ive proven that time and time again yet I dont get the opportunity.

Why is that? Is it because Im not blonde enough? Is that it? Is it because I dont have enough enhancements? Is that it? Im treated like the red-headed stepchild of the entire Womens Division. Yet I have proved time and time again that I am the moneymaker. That I am the person that people will tune in to see. That they will care about. That they want to see me win.

Yet its being stolen from me every single time.

Both combining fair points with whiny ones, ala a high quality Miz promo.

I wish WWE would have more heels who were just better than the faces. I mean I know it's the 'monster heel' trope but it annoys me that they just never go with it at the top end of the program. I want a heel that wins and wins clean because they are just better than the face and does it on a consistent basis.

Send face after face at the heel and have them all fall short not because of heel skullduggery but because the heel is just better. Then when a face finally does triumph it means so much more.

I guess technically we kinda just had that in Lesnar. Except he was never around and he was never a consistent heel and they only ever threw the same face at him.

EDIT: My point being, Becky can be that heel but they will never go for it.

Oh I guess the irony is Roman Reigns would have been perfect for that role too which I am sure has been said many times before.

After Charlotte ditched Dana prior to her face turn, she was trending in the direction of heel who was just able to beat everybody.

That interview with Becky was awesome. Actually acknowledging that the fans are still with her is huge, since the writers made such a stupid mistake trying to have her attack the fans for that. Becky is so damn good, and has earned a long title run.

Since Charlotte and Ronda seems to be penciled in at Mania, I'm wondering if Charlotte ends up winning the Rumble, and moving over to challenge on Raw. That would hopefully mean she drops the belt to Becky, and Becky can hold it until at least Mania (where she'd maybe drop it to Asuka if she doesn't beat her too).
