Tom Bombadil 09/02/18 11:23:14 AM #426:	My Starrcast viewing party experience and general thoughts: -Probably my fave thing was how many wrestling people were just hanging around the viewing party. Victoria, Gail Kim, Madusa, Ellsworth, Disco, Joel Gertner, Blue Meanie, Brian Pillman's kid, Oscar from Men on a Mission, and Violent J were all there, and Hurricane was hosting. Pretty sure industry people outnumbered regular ol' fans if you count like all the podcast people and such. I was surprised at how many empty seats there were, actually, but it was nice to have room. -Also saw Slaughter at the bar and bought a BLACK BAG SPECIAL from Don West -ODB had her food truck again but it rained too much to open it :( -For copyright reasons, we couldn't show Zero Hour in the actual place, but the hotel put it up on the TVs at the bar. -It was confusing seeing Hurricane in the battle royal since he was supposed to be hosting us, lol. He showed up a couple matches in and seemed nicer than I'd been led to believe he is. -I knew (or knew of) about half the people on the card and it was still among my favorite shows I have ever watched. -The penis stuff wasn't really to my taste but it was still kinda funny -The good news is that there were no low points all show! The bad news is that means no points to catch your breath or take a bathroom break. Was having a great time but felt like I'd watched a six hour show by the end. -Wifebolo's fave was Okada; I liked the NWA Title match. wasn't expecting a Diamond Cutter! Or Glacier! -I was very impressed by the announce team, even though for two seconds I thought Tony Schiavone was there and was bummed when he wasn't. They like, actually called and analysed the match instead of getting over their gimmicks and arguing! Amazing. -So Being The Elite is like a youtube show right? I should probably watch that, since I'm not quite ready to switch my streaming budget to NJPW. But it sounds like a good time and I'm curious about the backstory on that Flip guy.
