The identical twin sisters who married identical twin brothers in Ohio made headlines for their odd relationship...but what will even be more strange is that if they decide to have children, their children will be GENETIC SIBLINGS!!

Siblings share 50% of their DNA, except for twins, whose DNA sequences are a 100% perfect match!!. Typically first cousins have just an average of 12.5% of their genes in common..but not for future children of newlyweds, Josh and Jeremy Salyers who married Brittany and Briane Deane..who are now all Salyers.

A geneticist said the bizarre twist of genetics and fate maeks these 2 families more like one...

Twins make it more confusing for the average person but everything is clear to scientists.

The 2 pairs of twins is made up of 4 people but only 2 sets of DNA, their number of ways their DNA can combine to form their kids genes.

Humans have around 30,000 genes. We have 2 copies each of these genes in every chromosome, but the 2 corresponding copies vary slightly from one another. Each gene copy is the same size and shape and sits in the same position on the chromosome which comes in 23 pairs with matching genes...except for sex cells. Sperm and egg cells, contain just 1 copy of every chromosome and that copy is a mash up of the pair.

When a sperm fertilizes an egg, they make an embryo that has the correct number of genes and chromosomes. The embryo will have one copy of each gene from the mother and father, combined into a new set of 23 chromosomes. But this case is unique because this means each child will share as many genes with their aunt as they will with their mother.. The children are cousins "in real life" but in terms of their DNA, they are SIBLINGS.

This isn't the same as genetic incest. Inbreeding birth defects happen cause the mother and father share too much dna. The male halves don't share DNA with the female halves so they can safely reproduce.

Genes can only go so far to shape who people will become no matter how much DNA they share..but it will be awkward for them as both couples will live IN THE SAME HOUSE while raising children..

Do these people creep you out?

I was wondering if they do that all the time, or if it was just for those particular photos

You did indeed stab me in the back. However, you are only level one, whilst I am level 50. That means I should remain uninjured.
