Speaking as a woman, it's much easier for us to have sex than men. That aside, promiscuous men aren't much better, but given that women have to become mothers and have wifely duties, it's very, very bad for them to not be able to pair bond.

No, for a variety of reasons. The biggest one is the fact that there's something about people that had many relationships in the past that just don't align with me. People mind seem to change because of that, and we naturally end up not getting along. Also, I didn't had many relationships, so I think it's fair enough.

Then again, I don't really know if I want to get married at all.

I don't think it's that women have an easier time finding a partner. I think it's because women will "settle" for a sexual partner a little lower on the "looks chart" than men. I know a lot of guys who were asked out by someone who was average in the looks department, or who flirted with them, but they said no because they weren't hot enough. Where woman more easily at least gave average looking guys a chance. But I guess it's also about perception and what we each see. Maybe I see things differently because of where I live or the people I'm around...

For both genders, casual sex is very easily available if you're not too picky. Chances are you probably already know quite a few people who would be happy to oblige you, or if you don't, there's all kinds of sites and apps to help you find them. It's definitely not my scene though.

As for whether or not women have an easier time, the only way this could be true is if there were more men who wanted sex / relationships than women (thereby ensuring the supply of available women is smaller than the supply of men and thus women can be more choosy). There might be a small amount of truth to that but I don't think it's drastic. It's probably mostly confirmation bias. If you've worked hard to be in a relationship, it probably seems like "there's no way it can be this hard for other people", but it probably is, at least, if they're trying to find a good relationship. Keep in mind that the vast majority of relationships fail, finding one that doesn't isn't easy for anyone.

I am reminded of a comedian who once said something along the lines of "There are plenty of fat, ugly sluts. There are no fat, ugly studs."

I personally know troves of abhorrent women who seem to have no problem getting guys. They can be obese, have multiple kids from multiple baby daddies, be broke, be an all around bad person, undesirable in about every way and they still seem to always have a boyfriend.

Neither my wife nor I were ever promiscuous. I personally think our modern lack of chastity is one of the things wreaking havoc on our society.

Maybe I see women I think are 7's hooking up with guys I think are 4's. But you might think the girl was a 4 and the guy was a 7. Or she may see the guy as a 9. That could change things, too...

Then there's the fact that I live in a place where we have a problem with women doing their best to have a baby with a military member so they can get paid for the next 18 years... So, that could skew results, as well...

In the end, I'll still believe it's stupid that guys act like it's ok if they have sex with every woman they meet, but can't handle a girl that's had even 1/5 of the partners they've had. People can obviously choose who they want to be with. But if a guy sleeps with 100 different woman and can't handle a girl who has had 5 partners, they need to get over themselves. If you don't want your partner to have had a lot of other sexual partners, but you haven't either, that's a little better. But that's just how I feel...
