He just can't move horizontally that well in the air which is the biggest issue. It's a bit difficult to follow up with aerials if they were hit back a decent distance.

His offstage game is fantastic though because he has 3 jumps.

There was a fair amount of the potential high tiers that people just didn't play.

The couple times Pikachu was played he was super annoying.

Marth seems IMO the best char in the game atm.

I think both need to be considered. The gameplay is important, of course, but I wouldn't be comfortable with non-all stars in the game about all stars fighting each other, unless they're bizarro characters there to be weird (like WFT).

yeah if you don't want non-all stars then you'll probably be pretty disappointed already. Minecraft is more well known than Ice Climbers, Kid Icarus, like half the Fire Emblem characters...

By all stars, I obviously have a wider range for Nintendo than non-Nintendo. Like if meta knight was as well known as Squall, Id say meta knight takes priority.

Minecraft is more popular than almost anything in the roster. That game is a phenomenon.

Steve still sucks as a pick unless they do a LOT of work to make him more unique in some way, because as it stands the Wii Fit Trainer has more personality. He's literally just the default Minecraft skin, of which there are many. 99% of the people playing Minecraft don't know his name, or would even consider him a character.

Yeah, I had no beef with the idea of adding a Minecraft stage and maybe a Creeper AT or something, but Steve is just such a nothing character that I would actually be somewhat bothered if he's in the game.

I'll get over it, but he'd have to be really fun somehow to not 100% definitely be my least played character.
