I stopped drinking energy drinks completely back in 2006.

I was working as a material handler at Dell. My job was to make sure the people building machines didn't run out of parts. My shift was 5:30am to 3:30pm. They had a cafe in the factory with huge red bull cans. I started out drinking a huge can of red bull in the morning and a huge can of red bull during lunch.

One day after drinking a can of red bull, I was feeling sick to my stomach. I was trying to keep working as if nothing was wrong, believing I was hiding any symptoms. My boss took one look at me and could tell I wasn't feeling well.

I went to the bathroom and projectile vomited the red bull. I never drank another energy drink after that.

Actually, I did drink some more red bull a couple years ago. They were rolling about $1000 worth of different red bull flavors through the IT area. I think it was the cranberry flavor in the red/silver can. I thought it was decent, but I only drank a couple small cans of it.

I'd drink that on my way to work
then continue drinking throughout work
being able to get caffeine for free throughout the day is the best part of work now that I think about it

Strong coffee or 240mg Rockstar is the only thing that makes a dent in me nowadays

I tried cutting back but all that it did was make me sleep more

I used to drink it when I did 5pm to 5am on 60hr weeks for like 5 months but never again. Sometimes it worked sometimes it doesn't. And no, I never double intake energy drinks because it's way too much sugar for me. I drink pop here and there so I treat it like pop. Besides, one guy almost had a heart attack drinking 4 of those huge monster cans with the cap. The fuck?

The sugar free ones are the solution here and some taste even better than the regular sugar ones
