Well, if we've got the right in one topic, the left in another, why not the center?

Why not? The extremes aren't exactly helping things.

If you think the main politics topic that has been going for nearly 200 iterations now is 'extreme', you have such a warped view of politics that you probably fall into the extremes yourself.

Or you're European.

It's all globalists, i.e. one of the two ends of the current actual political spectrum. That's as extreme as it gets. You probably believe there's a real difference between GOP neocons and clinton-style democrats, as well, lmfao.

That is right and yet is also a reason the center isn't that attractive nowadays.

If you don't take one extreme, you are agreeing the other extreme has a point. And if you do that, you validate their ideas.

There is always one extreme people less, and the only effective way of fighting that extreme is taking the other one.

Not saying I like what I described above, but it's how politics works today.

Or he wants a topic that specifically talks about the center instead of a general politics topic that covers all points.

First, I must confess that over the last few years I have been gravely disappointed with the white moderate. I have almost reached the regrettable conclusion that the Negro's great stumbling block in the stride toward freedom is not the White Citizen's Council-er or the Ku Klux Klanner, but the white moderate who is more devoted to "order" than to justice; who prefers a negative peace which is the absence of tension to a positive peace which is the presence of justice; who constantly says "I agree with you in the goal you seek, but I can't agree with your methods of direct action;" who paternalistically feels he can set the timetable for another man's freedom; who lives by the myth of time and who constantly advises the Negro to wait until a "more convenient season."

Shallow understanding from people of goodwill is more frustrating than absolute misunderstanding from people of ill will. Lukewarm acceptance is much more bewildering than outright rejection.

Yay centrists!

Lets compromise on the Border Wall and just make it a fence, so we can sit on it.

what is the center?

is the center defined as taking every option available and taking the mean between them? or would it be the median? hmm....

My take on it is to strike a balance; to take a simplified example, on the topic of governmental control, a centrist would see control on some aspects and not others, rather than on everything or nothing.

i'm not sure - perhaps when you're not as progressive as the left but not as "fuck you i got mine" as the right? like, i wouldn't say minarchists are centrists because they want an incredibly small form of governmental control.
