I nominated Tifa and Liquid Snake. Tifa wasn't in the 2007 bracket, I think and Liquid Snake wasn't in the last character battle.

The noble nine are all classic characters in these contests. I bet Allen would put them in even if it was just a 32 bracket and some of them didn't get enough nominations.

Luigi and Bowser, again because I like them. Also, Pikachu and Mewtwo if they count as "upper midcarders" these days. Oh, and Ryu (SF), but that was more because I was worried about him getting in.

No Noble Niners (although I wouldn't mind nominating Snake if I ran out of ideas for other characters since he's one of my favorites), but I nominated Squall, Tifa, and Ryu. Big Boss, too, if he counts.

With Crono's usual run of bad luck, I figured I shouldn't tempt fate even if it's not realistically going to help him.

I nominated Bowser because I like him.

I nominated Vincent because he might actually need it and he deserves another shot after what happened in 2013.

The strongest established character I nominated was Garrus, and at most two of my newcomer nominations could beat him.

Nope, I just don't like any of them except kinda Mario a little.

That's not to say I dislike most of them either (only Cloud and Sephiroth). Just total apathy towards the others.

I don't have any particular reason, I just like her, and I played Metroid Fusion a lot when I was younger and liked her development/narration in it.

My other 19 nominations are either supporting b8, or unpopular characters who won't make it in.

Not in recent memory, but back in the day I nominated Mega Man a few times.

But yeah my all-trades route means I didnt nominate anything remotely strong. Closest are probably Nightmare and Bulbasaur.
