A mixed box of peppers shipped my way this morning. Carolina Reaper variants, thai chilis and others.

If you make sure you've eaten something solid and substantial, drink milk beforehand and later on in the night, you can mostly avoid capsaicin cramps or ring burn.

I've had them from multiple sources. You can get varying heat levels between pods that came from the same plant.

The flavor is excellent on them either way. The heat is delayed too. If they were smart, they'd breed the Carolina Reaper down until it's at around 400-500k scoville so people could comfortably eat more than one or two in a day.

I avoid extra hot stuff cause I prefer to enjoy my meals. My warehouse sells some homemade ghost pepper salsa but I prefer the chipotle one since it's more mild and I'm a wuss like that.
